Required field is not appearing as required

    We have an urgent fix request on the: Supplemental Application for Financial Aid form.


    The Parent 1 Name field is appearing required int he jotform setup and not in the live url.


    We are also receiving complaints that even if Parent 1 Birth date is filled out, the user receives and error message to go back and fix Parent 1 birth date required field form. And when user goes back, the entire form is blank.

    I have checked your form and its cloned version, but everything worked properly on my end.

    Here is a quick example of the Parent 1 Name field validation.

    Are you able to reproduce the issues using any specific browsers and operating systems?

    Thank you for your rapid response. We were able to make a change to the parent 1 condition and parent 1 name now seems to appear required. We are still seeing 2 issues with the form.

    1 new issue-

    when the form is filled out properly, at the very end of the form the date populates today's date automatically, and upon hitting submit, we get an error that says "this date is not available."

    And- we are still encountering an issue with the Parent 1 Birth Date. When the entire form is filled out, but we leave 1 required field blank, for example student ID- we get an error message that says:

    "There are incomplete fields in your submission:

    -parent 1 date of birth is required

    Please go back and fix the problem."


    This error message is the error message regardless of the missing required field. Then we the user does go back using the provided go back link, sometimes the entire form is blank. Or- we have also seen Parent 1 phone number clearing out for whatever reason and having to fill it in multiple times before the form submits properly.
