    Google Spreadsheet Integration: Unable to load file error

    I have a form that I have integrated with Google Spreadsheet.  I keep getting the error -- Unable to Load File on the Google Spreadsheet .  I only get this error if I have data in the spreadsheet from my form.  If I clear out the data for my form it opens just fine.

    I tried different browsers, mac, pc, etc and this keeps happening.  Deleted the integration, re-integrated and still won't work.

    Thank you for contacting us.

    Personally I cannot reproduce the issue while testing a cloned version of your form with integration to my Google account.

    Here some Google users reported that a similar error was caused by browser extensions. Could you please do a quick test with disabled browser extensions on your end?

    I’ve disabled plugins, used other computers, other browsers, Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer, Firefox.
    I still keep getting unable to load for the google spreadsheet if I have data on the form.
    I created a clone of my form, without data the integration worked. With data it bombs. I’m thinking something coming from jot form with the data is upsetting the integration. Could it be one of your data plugins? I used 2 different ones for email and dates.

    Karen, thank you for the update about that and for trying and letting us know.

    I have a google account as well so I have done some additional testing of this with a submission I prefilled onto a cloned copy of your form prior to integrating it with google's spreadsheets just to see what would happen for my side of things.

    Unfortunately, my results were the same as my colleagues as well where I was able to successfully integrate with google spreadsheets on my end.

    I've cleared your form caches to refresh things for your account so I would suggest removing the spreadsheet integration and trying it again to see if that helps to resolve it or not.

    If for some reason there's still an issue just let us know and we'll try to investigate further to assist with getting to the bottom of your issue since it's occurring with one of our generated spreadsheets.

    HI, I have the exact same issue. I can't see the spreadsheet since it is unable to load everytime I try to open it to check the results.

    Did you figure out what could be the issue?

    No, this is not resolved for me either. I have been working with support and they say they can’t duplicate. However I can. I’ve done everything possible I can think of. The only time it works is if the form has no data in it. As soon as it has data then it won’t work and gives me the error.
    I’ve even copied my form, then started again and same results. Support hasn’t admitted to the problem to date.

    I've checked this again and it was the same result unfortunately but, I have a question for you after looking at this some more.

    I see there's one submission shown on the spreadsheet when your issue occurs:

     

    Where is the one line of data shown on your spreadsheet coming from?

    Was that a previous submission that was sent to you when you had it integrated or did you copy and paste that onto the spreadsheet from somewhere?

    Are you doing anything to modify the spreadsheet after integrating it?

    That can cause these types of problems if that is the case and could be a possible reason behind it.

    Please try the following:

    1) Remove the integration.

    2) Clear your forms cache: https://www.jotform.com/help/229-How-to-Clear-Your-Form-Cache 

    3) Clone your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/27-How-to-clone-an-existing-form-from-your-account 

    4) Integrate Google Spreadsheet in this cloned version.

    Let us know if you get the same error or not, we will be glad to assist you.

    It appears to open fine with no data in the form on google.
    Then I fill out the form with data and I am back to getting the error again. “Unable to Load File”
    Cleared form cache
    Cloned form
    Etc.

    Thank you. I have used different browser (IE, firefox chrome on my PC, and Safari, Firefox, and Chrome on my MAC) All have the same issue.
    I go home to my laptop PC, same thing.

    You are welcome and we appreciate the further attempts though it still has remained a unfortunate troubling issue for you.

    So perhaps our developers may find something more with what's going on here as it seems to be solely occurring on your account for some odd reason which is a bit peculiar.
