    Hi,

Can you please provide us the URL of your website where the form was used? We can take a look at the website code.
I am not too sure its the form that is causing the hanged-up though.

You can actually remove the embedded form by simple reverse process of the embedding procedure. (Just delete the code you embedded)

Or you can try disabling the form in JotForm builder, then open your website again and check if its OK.

    Please give us updates. Thanks.

New response receivedRemove the embedded form by reversing the process on the website? If that's what you mean I can't, the embedding process has hung up my entire site, I can't do anything with it. See below what is going on

    Hi Linda,

Unfortunatelly, I could not see any attachment on your last reply.
And I could not see the URL of your website... I could offer more suggestion if I can know this, and check the form embedded -- and I can suggest better on how we can remove the form on that website.

    Will await your response. Thanks.

    Hi Linda

Lemme guess... that's a Basekit website, right? I experienced a similar problem some months ago but I can't recall what I did to fix the problem.

Okay, I just checked the archives in my Gmail account and saw where I submitted the following ticket to the BaseKit team on January 10, 2012:

"I suspect that the JavaScript onClick events I included in an embedded block of code (a JotForm form) has caused a problem. Whenever I log in, 'Please wait' appears and never leaves the screen - not allowing me to do anything. See the screenshot I ('abajan' is my JotForm forum username) have provided in this thread: http://www.jotform.com/answers/66946-How-can-I-to-add-a-javascript-code-to-my-form. Is my assumption correct?"

Their reply on the same day:

"Hi, yes, it pretty much must be faulty code. Please use the HTML code from the form you created.

I will delete the code from your page later.

    Best

    Christopher"

In your case, contacting Hostgator for assistance may be the best course of action but it wouldn't hurt to also contact BaseKit.

Incidentally, I abandoned my BaseKit site after the 14 day trial period expired.

Our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

    Hello Linda,

Were you able to get around deleting the form already from your site? Or did the basekit support provided adequate assistance to do so?

As mentioned by my colleague abajan, the host support option seems to be the option viable to enought to re-enable your website. Please update us when you can.

    Thanks.

New response receivedBasekit did absolutely nothing for me. Nor for that matter has JotForm. I finally had to contact Host Gator to see if they could help me, which as always they seem to be able to do things no one else can.

    Linda,

We are truly sorry for any inconvinience it may had caused to you.

And we are glad to know that a solution had been provided via the website host option already.
