    Hi

I am have a form to allow clients to submit their project requirements. I am sending them the EDIT link as I want them to be able to return and update or revise requirements for their specific project.

However, at some point I need to move the project to production, and so at that time I need to disable their ability or percieved ability to adjust their requirements any more.

So ideally I'd like to "lock" their submission at that point.

I see from the various discussions that this may not be possible on a per-submission basis? so I am wondering if you can suggest methods that you feel might achieve this?

I have an integration to google drive and google sheets

    thanks

Unfortunately it is not possible to lock a specific submission only. As long as the user has the edit link, they will be able to edit their submission at any point.

The only way you can prevent them from editing the submission would be to completely disable the form. By doing so, even if they have an edit link, they won't be able to access the form. Here's our guide on How to enable/disable a form.

You can also choose to download an excel, pdf or csv version of the submissions on a specific date and use that as the final version of the user's submission. So no matter how many times the user edits their submission after that date, you will have an exported version of the final submission that you want to accept. How to Download Form Submissions as Excel/CSV/PDF?
