Edit submission: previously submitted data in text area fields are removed when I edit a submissionAsked by maisonlondres on November 21, 2016 at 12:07 PM
Dear Madam, Sir,
I’ve got a problem with the modification of submissions in the form “FIA 17: Formulaire acheteurs (à utiliser)”. When I select a submission and click the “Edit” button, all the fields are present but some of them (where there were answers), become empty such as “How did you hear about the event”, “Title”, “Number of delegate(s)”, “Please describe the purchasing process/organisation within your company” (see the Screenshot which is in French version) and “Please describe your role within this process”. I then have to fill in those fields again in order to submit the form.
It happened with all the submissions and with the different web browser (Internet Explorer and Google Chrome).
Thank you in advance for your help,
I can replicate this problem in your form. I'm not sure really sure why, but there are errors in the console that might be related to the issue.
Let me submit this thread to our developers for them to check this further. If there are updates, you should know it through this thread.
Let us know if you have questions.
Thanks for your answer. Just to be sure : you meant "you CAN'T" I presume :)
I meant I was able to replicate the problem in your form with missing data on text area fields when on edit view. The same issue is happening when using the edit link: https://www.jotform.com/edit/355534690412973599.
