    Hi Team

It's a small, but important feedback for the improvement, pls fix it asap, we have been suffering

Issue: When we do cloning of any form, then by default our main admin's details get added in the Email information, however that should be the same of cloning form

like: If I am cloning form A and I used email id and other information like info@text.com, then cloned form should also display the same details as well as same email id like info@text.com for receiving the submission.

We hope to hear from you soon

    Hi,

I am a bit confuse as to what is exactly was the problem. Let me describe to you more in details how form cloning work.

#1 If you are cloning a form on your own account, the submission email that will be used on the cloned form/s will be your account email.

#2 If you are cloning form NOT on your account, the submission email that will be used on the cloned form/s will still be your account email. It will not use the original submission email of the original form.

For security purposes, you will not be able to know what is the original email of another form if its not on your account. (i.e. you clone another form from other jotform user)

Please let us know if I did not understand the issue and this is not the answer you were looking for.

    Thanks.

    Hi

    Let me explain you again,

Like we are using main admin id as sk@e-web-solutions.net

now we created a new form for abc website and we used test@gmail.com id

Now If we clone this abc form for xyz website, then default id displays like sk@e-web-solutions.net instead of test@gmail.com

Why we need test@gmail.com while cloning, because some time we create 2-3 forms for the same domain abc, then all the time we have to change the email details.

Suggestion: Either you people do as we requested above or give an option to decide, which contact details we would like to use in the cloning form like main admin details or cloning form's

We hope to get the solution this time. Looking forward to hear from you soon

    Thank you for explaining further.

Now If we clone this abc form for xyz website, then default id displays like sk@e-web-solutions.net instead of test@gmail.com

As I have explained previously, this is correct and this is how the system currently do it.

#1 If you are cloning a form on your own account, the submission email that will be used on the cloned form/s will be your account email.
