    half french half english

modifier le formulaire is modify the form, this I understand

but the other one is someting like "I can't integrate your forms onto ACAPELLA, can you help me"

    Pleasse correct

the rest of the software is translated at about 20% and this since years

    don't claim it as multilingual

what would you think if you were using a russian software translated like this?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, the interface of our website was translated by our fellow users from the French speaking areas, such as yourself. If some of the translations we have received so far are incorrect, please let us know the correct translation that should be there, and we will be happy to update our interface accordingly.

The English text that should appear in those places is "View Submissions" in the first column, and "Edit Form" in the second column:

We look forward to your response with the correct translation. Thank you!

view submissions is "voir les soumissions"

but a lot of errors are on the software like

JotForm Website: Translation into French is incomplete Image 1 Screenshot 20

nasre doesn't wants to mean anything

    use "Ignorer" instead

It is a very hard to do job to add translation like this

    I propose something to you

send me an excel or equivalent file with all the terms used and actual french translation

I will check the amount of work to do

and I will, depending on the work amount propose to you something like One or 2 years free hosting or something like that.

about 140 millions of people are french speaking,(see wikipedia) you can't miss that amount of customers due to erratic and unfair translation.

please pass to this to aytekin  that know me very well due to security on uploaded files problem I submited weeks ago Which resulted in a modification of jotform

Thank you for your kind suggestion.

The translation for "Ignore > Ignorer" has been updated in our system, and will be available soon.

In order for such an offer in translating our entire system to be considered, please provide your written language degrees, or documentation showing your past translation work, so that our higher ups can be assured of the quality of the translation service you wish to offer.

As of now, our website relies on translation entries submitted freely to us by kind fellow users such as yourself, who simply wish to improve the translation they use. As such, we do not have the list of all translation entries available in file formats such as Excel, but we'll be happy to forward this to our higher ups for possible consideration if you can showcase that you offer professional level of such a service.

    Thank you.

I don't have any degree in translation but I'm 55 , an engineer and I can provide much better translation than googletranslate.

Even google translate would do a better job than the actual translation on your application

but if you don't have a database with all the sentences of your application, it will be hard to translate correctly and easily

so please don't ask high level quality when you provide very poor quality.

My proposal is simple, tell me if you want to go on that way

my English is not high level but i I am French with a good level of knowledge and computer science, sufficient to do a good job, I write in french with very few mistakes.

    Thanks for your answer

    Hi,

Thank you for the help. I will forward this additional information to the developer assigned.

If you wish to see the full English version of JotForm, you can do that by opening a separate tab. When you are editing a form, you'll see at the bottom part the drop down option of languages, set it to "English" so that you can see the full English version of the form builder.

I hope that helps. We will update you on this thread as soon as the corrections have been made.

    Hello

due to the lack of french good translation,

I translated The 610 First entries of the french dictionary

    that I found here

    https://french.jotform.com/page.php?p=locale/fr-FR

checked and updated the 610 first line of the file

    Tell me if I continue?

I put it here in unicode, you can code it as you want

    I can continue.

    http://www.revellat.fr/img/translatefrenchunicode.txt

You just have to html code the file and replace the old one, it will be much better.

We have a tool that we can use on our end to fix translations on forms but unfortunately as far as  I know it doesn't allow our support team to correct this on the account page therefore our development team must do it.

Your issue is marked as important so our devs will do it as soon as they can but, generally we do not promise any sort of time frame since it is depending upon the workload they have ahead of it such as other issues that were reported prior or potentially other important system functionalities though I am sure they will correct it as soon as possible.

Additionally, I'm sending another note to check up on this on your behalf and as soon as its resolved or we hear something about it we'll let you know.

    thanks Kade

I can really help you on that but the developer team has to tell me quickly if my work is useful for them.

the tool you provide for translation is not right because too far from the context, it is more efficient to do it from the file that I found o your server because sentences are sorted by applications and context, like this it is more easy

for translation check, if you can give me acces to a jotform test plateform where I can check and correct my work

thanks to help people that help you.

Thank you for your time and effort on this. As mentioned by Kade, we cannot guarantee any time frames on this as this is depending on our developer teams current workflow. We also do not have a test platform for our users. We will update you as soon as we hear any news. Apologies.

I'm afraid there haven't been any updates about this from our development team. Our developers will be informing you here of any developments, or if your offer is accepted.

I'll also send a reminder to the developer in charge, in case there is any information we can provide you at this time.

We're sorry for the lack of updates, let me forward this to the developer in charge so they can provide an update. From what we've heard so far, it seems our team is already working with a team of translators on this, which is why they may not have updated you whether we will be needing your assistance as well. Thank you for your patience and understanding, we'll let you know as soon as possible.
