A Quick Note About Temporary Database Problems

Our database server started having problems today. So, we switched to the backup database server. Unfortunately, the backup server is few hours behind. So, you might miss some data in your account. This is a temporary problem. Unless something else goes wrong, all of the data on your account will be restored by tomorrow.

Thank you all for your patience.

UPDATE:  All missing data should be restored now.

We are still slower than usual since we have not completed the transition to the new database server. I'll post more updates when they are complete.

UPDATE 2: (3/4/2011) We need to disable the Submissions page and Reporting sometimes during the transition to the new server. If you see that message, check back on another time to access to your reports. Thanks for your patience.

UPDATE 3: (3/6/2011 6am) Switch to new main database server has been completed successfully. JotForm is now faster than ever since we took this opportunity beef up our database server memory and CPU power. Thanks all for your patience and support.

    ETA on reports? They were back a for a while last night, and now, as you know, gone again. An update on what's going on and more importantly when the reports will be back reliably woud be nice. We have not been able to communicate with our clients from these form submissions all week. Quick update please?

    Thanks for keeping us updated. I have some critical data I'd like to access for tomorrow morning.

    I waited for the scheduled downtime to expire, but I am still unable to view my submissions. Can you recommend any workaround, or possibly advise on when would be the latest they would be available?

    I hope this is corrected by the morning. I was presenting this to our Executive team when the failures started. I've worked on correcting the last three hours before I read the blog. I hope this is temporary. I really like the potential

    Will changes I made during maintenance be voided then? I made changes as the forms were no longer sized correctly. Mid-changes I had to stop because your maintenence started and kept freezing my work. I would like my forms RESET to what they were ohh... 24 hours ago - before your maintenence, before my changes. Is that possible? And if not, will you please inform us of these types of maintenence issues in the future?

    So does this mean the account I set-up and worked on for 4 hours yesterday about 16 hours ago is lost forever or can I expect my forms back by tomorrow? I need to know as I will need to start working on new forms today otherwise.

    I noticed that my forms were old. I ended up rebuilding them tonight. Will I have to rebuild them again when my account data is restored?
