12 companies that are helping during COVID-19

By now you might know about Jotform’s Coronavirus Responder Program, which offers free, unlimited HIPAA-friendly Jotform accounts to anyone using Jotform to battle the crisis. But we’re happy that many other software companies are also extending a helping hand to their users during this difficult time.

We’ve compiled a list of some of our friends who are doing what they can to make sure small businesses, nonprofits, schools, healthcare providers, and government agencies can weather the storm a little more easily.

1. Square

Popular among restaurants and retailers around the world, the global payments company is waiving all software subscription fees for the month of April for anyone using one of their products, including Appointments, Retail, Restaurants, Loyalty, Team Management, Payroll, Marketing, and Square Online Store.

They’ve also rolled out Give and Get Local, a marketplace where customers can purchase gift cards from Square sellers everywhere.

2. Zoho

Zoho is offering $300 in Zoho Wallet credits until the end of May to help businesses during Covid-19. Simply sign up for Zoho using this link, and $300 will be automatically added to use on Zoho products.

The company also just launched Zoho Remotely, a suite of tools, including productivity and collaboration tools, to help teams work from separate locations.

3. HubSpot

Whether you’re using HubSpot for marketing or sales, it just became a lot more affordable. Their Starter Growth Suite typically runs $112.50 per month, but it’s been reduced to $50 per month as a part of HubSpot’s response to COVID-19. The company is also suspending limits on emails for their Marketing Hub and increasing limits on calling for customers of their Sales and Services hubs.

4. monday.com

Any nonprofit using monday.com to help with the COVID-19 outbreak can use the powerful collaboration software for free, including support to get up and running. monday.com is great for teams that need to manage complex tasks, and it’s typically only available through paid plans.

5. Mailchimp

Mailchimp is promising to give away $10 million total in price reductions to businesses that want to continue using their platform during the course of the epidemic but need some financial help. Eligible companies have 25 or fewer employees in industries like restaurants, health and beauty, travel, and other select brick-and-mortar businesses.

Mailchimp has also pledged to make $100 million in discounts, product upgrades, and more. And they’re offering free Standard accounts to anyone using Mailchimp to send important COVID-19 updates.

6. Doxy.me

Doxy.me is a fast-growing telemedicine software company that provides an easy way for doctors to help patients remotely. To help Jotform users during this time, they’re offering a 20-percent discount on one of their paid plans when you enter “Jotform” as your coupon code.

7. Slack

As more and more companies move to remote work, Slack is becoming essential. For the next three months, the company is offering nonprofits free Standard and Plus upgrades. These plans come with a host of added benefits, including unlimited message storage, group calls with screen sharing, and unlimited apps. The Plus plan also includes single sign-on and 99.99 percent guaranteed up time.

8. Airtable

Working on COVID-19 relief efforts? You could be eligible for a free Airtable Pro plan. The plan has no expiration date and unlocks a handful of powerful features, including priority support response, an advanced calendar, early access to new features, and increased storage and usage limits.

9. Zapier

Zapier is the leader in connecting third-party apps that don’t have native integrations. With Zapier, you can send Jotform response data to nearly 2,000 other services around the web.

Zapier’s pricing is based on the number of integrations you connect and the speed at which the data goes from one service to another. But now they’re offering free Starter plans until the end of the year to anyone on the front lines of the coronavirus response.

10. Dropbox

File-hosting service Dropbox is offering their Business and Dropbox Sign (formerly known as HelloSign) Enterprise subscriptions without cost for three months to NGOs that are taking on the COVID-19 fight directly. Organizations that are providing relief efforts and working to stop the spread of the virus are encouraged to apply.

11. Zendesk

Zendesk’s Tech for Good Program donates their paid plans to nonprofits that are using their platform to manage volunteering, relief efforts, home assistance, and more. Their two main product suites are designed for sales and support teams, but can be used in a variety of ways to help nonprofits.

Be sure to check out Jotform’s new integration with Zendesk.

12. Constant Contact

The famous email marketing service is now providing a Small Business Support Kit, designed as a one-stop resource for struggling businesses. It includes advice on how to apply for relief funding, take your business online, and talk to someone about putting an action plan in place.

Whether your organization is directly helping with relief efforts, or it’s just in an industry that’s impacted by the spread of the virus, there are companies providing assistance to help you get through.
