’Tis the season for gratitude, reflection, and celebration.

At Jotform, 2021 has been a whirlwind of productivity and excitement with our company’s full-on rebrand, countless product and feature launches, and explosive growth.

But we couldn’t have done it without our 13 million users and dedicated team, so here’s to you! Let’s close out 2021 on a high note with a celebratory post on some of this year’s milestones. 🥂

🤩 Our big rebrand

Jotform’s rebrand was one of the most significant projects we’ve done as a company, and it took roughly one year to complete.

Since Jotform launched in 2006, our product has changed quite a bit. We were the original WYSIWYG online form builder, so it made sense to market ourselves as the “Easiest Online Form Builder.”

But our product advanced, and we’ve become more than a form builder.

Our team decided it was time to take the plunge and do a complete rebrand. We created a new logo, updated the spelling of our name, introduced new brand colors, and launched a new tagline — “Powerful forms get it done.”

The rebrand was exactly what Jotform needed to reposition itself this year. We went all out for this rebrand, too, doing a bus ad and billboard takeover in San Francisco, and producing lots of content about it.

🚀 Product first and always launching

As most of you know, Jotform is a product-first company, and we’re constantly launching new products and features to enrich our suite of offerings and enhance the user experience.

This year, we released several products, mostly based on user requests, to provide added value.

Apps and Approvals were our two larger-than-life launches.

Jotform Apps is a no-code app builder that anyone can use to bundle forms, create internal portals, manage an organization, and more. It was such a popular launch that we were the No. 1 product of the day on Product Hunt. Check out Jotform Apps in action below.

Jotform Approvals launched in early 2021 when organizations were still digitizing and getting their workflows online. Approvals empowers organizations to easily automate approval processes and streamline workflows. It’s simple to add approvers, set up automated email notifications, include conditional logic, and more.

Our CEO Aytekin Tank said, “The COVID-19 pandemic changed the way we work, and Jotform’s goal is to release products and features that help our users adapt to this new work life. Approvals is another piece of Jotform’s puzzle, and the next step to providing organizations with a powerful solution to increase productivity and support great work.”

Jotform Approvals was another success, helping organizations create fluid workflows and automate processes during the pandemic.

In addition to these product launches, we released

We also got an affiliate program off the ground and initiated a free student survey program.

There was really something for all of our users this year.

💥 2021 growth highlights

This year, Jotform also saw some exciting growth, with the number of users, our employee count, financials, and more on the rise.

In 2021, we increased our revenue by 50 percent and our user base by 55 percent, totaling over 13 million worldwide. We also reached our 15th year in business and added dozens of teammates globally.

We’re also excited to announce that we opened a new office in London. This office will be beneficial in growing a Western European team and becoming a more significant presence abroad. Take a moment to check out a short video about it below.

Some other fun wins were crossing 20K followers on Twitter, publishing over 500 videos to our YouTube channel, writing 100K words of content each month, producing multiple webinars, and building a presence on TikTok.

This only scratches the surface of what our team has accomplished this year — so let’s give a shout-out to every Jotformer for doing great work and helping us reach this next level.
