  • Extension and Reinstatement Request

  • One month extension: $90.00

    Two months extension: $160.00

    Reinstatement: After 1 or more than 2 months of approved absence from the program: $150.00

     

  • NOTE: Technical Requirements

    In order to take the program, you must have a computer (laptop or desktop), with the latest operating system and latest browsers installed. Mobile devices and tablets are not supported. You would not be able to complete all program requirements using mobile devices and tablets, or other systems that are not either a laptop or desktop.

    You must have audio capability (able to record and listen to recordings), video capability (able to view videos), and have basic Internet and computer skills.

  • Please read the policies carefully. Payment of the Extension or Reinstatement Fees indicate understanding and agreement to the Culture Advantage policies.

     

    End Date Extension Request

     

    If you are unable to complete all program requirements within your program plan End Date, you may sign up for a monthly extension. The extension fee is not prorated and not refundable.  One extension gives you 30 days access.  You may sign up for 3 monthly extensions under extenuating circumstances. If you are not able to complete the program within this time period, we will need to reevaluate your situation before you would be able to continue. A student may apply for extension while active in the program and completing satisfactory work.

    Extension Fee for 1 month: $90.00

    NOTE: The program must be completed within 6 months inclusive or you will need to re-register and start over from the beginning.

  • Withdrawal Request

    A student in good standing may withdraw from the program. Withdrawal notification must be made within 30 days of the last date of attendance. By notifying Culture Advantage of your request to withdraw, you may be eligible to receive a Letter of Attendance for the parts of the program that you have completed with passing grade. Your attendance and participation will be reviewed and you will receive a letter listing the courses that you have completed and the courses that you have not completed in partial fullfillment of your program plan.

    A student  in good standing who completes the Withdrawal Request may be eligible for Reinstatement within 6 months by paying the Reinstatement Fee.

    A student is deemed to be in good standing if all fees including extension fees have been paid, the student has been in compliance with Culture Advantage policies and expectations, and course requirements have been completed with satiisfactory performance. 

  • Reinstatement Request

    For Approved Absence or Withdrawal:

    After 3 months of approved absence , or if the Program End Date is overdue, the student may sign up for reinstatement by paying the reinstatement fee.

    Suspended or Terminated Student:

    If the student is Inactive for more than 3 weeks without notification or request for absence, the student may be suspended (if student was doing satisfactory work) or terminated (if student work was unsatisfactory).

    A suspended student may request reinstatement within 3 months of the last date of activity/last completed activity at the learning portal or last date of assignment/exam. Approval is based on mentor availability and program availability.  The student will pay the Reinstatement Fee.  If there are any exam retakes, or other activities that need to be repeated, there may be additional fees. In order to be approved for reinstatement after suspension, the student will need to follow a specific program plan.

    A terminated student with poor academic performance does not qualify for reinstatement and will need to re-apply to the program. Culture Advantage reserves the right not to accept applicants who were not in good standing while attending the program.

    Please note that Reinstatement Fees cover the review of student attendance, performance, and academic requirements and up to 30 days of course access.  We may require validation of knowledge base of previously completed courses after an LOA of over 1 month which may require additional fees. Fees for exam retakes or private coaching, taking exams and/or assessments, or other additional services are not included in the reinstatement fee.

    The student must pay Extension Fees to continue to complete the program past 30 days of the Reinstatement.

    The program must be completed within a 6-month period. After 6 months, the student will need to re-enroll and pay the enrollment fee and complete all requirements.

    Reinstatement Fee: $150.00 (One month access. After one month, if you need more time, you will need to sign up for monthly extension.)

  • NOTE: The program must be completed within a 6-month period. There are no refunds for Extension and Reinstatement Fees.

  • Extension Agreement

    Please sign that you agree to the following:

    1. For each month of extension that you sign up for,  you have 30 days access from the payment date, or on the date specified in your program plan.

    2. If you do not complete all requirements in 30 days, you may sign up for another extension. There are only two extensions allowed.

    3. The Comprehensive Final Evaluation must be reserved when you complete Part 3 Module 1, before access is given to Module 2.

    4. All submitted coursework must be satisfactory (with passing grade) before students are given access to the next section. Unsatisfactory work may cause delay in the program plan and may necessitate extra fees such as exam retake, remediation, private coaching, etc. Any missing work must be resubmitted.

    5. The Final Evaluation must be completed on or before the End Date and must be reserved at least one week in advance, and approved based on mentor availability.
