Conditions of Entry
NO telephone or late entries will be accepted.
The draw will be posted on the Bemboka Show Dressage facebook page www.bembokashow.org.au & www.fscda.com.au
Entries will only be accepted if the entry form is completed and signed, including the Indemnity and Waiver Statement and accompanied with the full payment. Entries received without payment will not be scheduled into the draw.
One rider only per horse. One rider may only ride a maximum of 2 horses in each test.
Each horse may only compete in 2 consecutive levels (e.g. Prelim/Novice) and no more than 3 tests per horse. In accordance with EA rulings a horse must be a minimum of 3 years of age to compete. All horses on the grounds must be entered in a competition.
Preparatory tests are open to horse/rider combinations who have not won more than 3 Preparatory Tests (with min 5 competitors) or scored 70% or above in a Preliminary Test. Combinations who still wish to enter at this level must ride HC and declare their intention to do so, at time of entry.
No refund of entry fees will be given after the closing date. 50% of entry fees will be refunded if a veterinary or medical certificate is produced no later than 24 hours after the event. Please notify any scratching ASAP to help with the smooth running of the event. On arrival please check the draw as it may vary.
Ribbons may be awarded to 8th place in each test (depending on number of entrants in the test - as per rules).
Riding Attire: All competitors are required to wear an AS/NZ3838 (current Aust & NZ), or EN1384 (European) or ASTN F1 163 (USA) standard helmet at all times when mounted on a horse. Approved short or long riding boots, gloves, collared & sleeved shirt & generally a neat and tidy appearance is required. If gaiters/chappettes are worn, the exposed side must be full grain leather, suede on the exposed side is not permitted. Official combinations, compulsory dress as per the rules, EA registration & Bridle No. required.
Freestyle may be in costume.
Callers are allowed.
Dogs are not encouraged, if present must be under control in accordance with the Companion Animals Act
Gear Check: Riders must complete a gear check before each test. Failure to do so may incur elimination.
Results will be displayed outside the pavilion on the day. If you require tests to be mailed please provide a stamped, self-addressed, long envelope. FSCDA members’ results will be included in their annual points score awards.
Catering: A breakfast of egg & bacon roll will complement several selections for lunch. Tea, coffee and a selection of home baking will also be available for sale.
