Students are expected to be available 5 days a week for class, lab, simulation, and clinical. Please note, there may be times when you need to complete an evening or overnight clinical or be required to participate in clinical multiple days of the week. The clinical sites determine our clinical days and given the number of schools that require clinical sites there is no negotiation for change. The Ellen Finley Earhart Department of Nursing program may restrict the number of hours a student can work or participate in activities outside of the program. It is an expectation that your nursing courses, lab, simulation, and clinical work are your first priority. The difficulty with nursing school is the sacrifice you must make to reach your future goals. This information is provided for making an educated decision to participate in the nursing program.
Please refer to the Nursing Application Packet for additional information.
