The following information must be fully completed in order to be considered a volunteer coach on staff at NubAbility events and to be added to our coaching team of mentors on our website. Thank you for your time. (Please complete even if you have coached prior - Adopted July, 2016)

We are so pumped to have you on our team! We do not have an exclusivity clause. We LOVE to network with and support other like-minded organizations. Please share if you work with any and their contact person.
Each Coach once a Team Member: Must submit all required forms before any travel or other expenses are spent on your participation in an event prior to coach registration deadline for that event. Waivers will be signed at check in of each event. • Must serve at least 1 NubAbility Camp during the calendar year to be featured on our website and in our social media. Exceptions made are based on medical, education and job restrictions. • Must agree to LIKE, FOLLOW, SHARE, REPOST Our social media in order to help us serve as many limb-different kids globally as possible. • Agree to consider to either hold an online peer-to-peer fundraiser, promote a NubAbility fundraiser, organize another type of fundraiser, find sponsors or self-sponsor travel/expenses to NubAbility events annually. Coaches are our largest expense. Teamwork makes the DREAMWORK! Thank you for understanding our efforts! On Serving I Understand: • Each coach that commits to an event must do so by the deadline communicated by the NubAbility Director, Head Coach, or Coaching Intern. NubAbility donor dollars are committed to expensed to feed, lodge, clothe,train and accommodate our coaching staff. It is imperative that we get a FIRM commitment before we expend those donated resources. • Unless a coach is completely SELF-SPONSORED, NubAbility can not accommodate a unique schedule for a coach. In order for NubAbility to fund coach travel and other expenses, the coach MUST fulfill their commitment to the event from the required arrival date, to the dismissal date/time of the event. • Each coach will “opt in” to the text message system and reply in a timely manner to messages and emails. • Exceptions may apply on time commitment only IF the coach is available to fulfill their coaching assignment in their sport area in its entirety. This will be considered by the Coach Board Members, only if the request is in writing and emailed to sam@NubAbility.org. • Acts of God, illness and family emergency are automatic exceptions.The coach will agree to communicate to the Director any occurrence that would prevent them from fulfilling their previous commitment. •In the case of a cancellation or a no-show, any airfare or travel that is non-refundable and not used for another NubAbility event within the calendar year, and any customized gear will be invoiced to the coach and will be due upon receipt. •Each coach will attend all required sessions and activities as stated in the orientation of the event if not prior and will be at each event promptly as directed. • Agree to the hierarchy of Coach management in the organization and events. • Agree to be a motivator, encourager and teacher at all times to all youth athletes in my sphere of influence at NubAbility Events. •Each coach agrees to address any parental complaints with their head coach or the Executive Head Coach that is in the vicinity. •Become a Game Changer in the lives of the youth we serve and their families by mentoring them via email, messenger, text, etc. •Each coach agrees to act in a SAFETY 1st Manner and will report any accidents to the nearest Safety or Medical team member. •NubAbility vets the best they can any inquiries made to connect with a coach from a non-camp source. Use discretion wisely when replying to any inquiries.On Teamwork: • Each coach understands the imperatives of TEAMWORK with ALL coaches and staff in pulling off events of the magnitude that we organize and conduct.Petty personality conflicts, rudeness, gossip or slander with or about other coaches will not be tolerated. •In the event that you believe their is an issue that is detrimental to putting the best team forward, please discuss with the Executive Head Coach you are the most comfortable with or discuss with the Exec. Director. •In the event the coach has a question about the administrative or business functions of the organization, they will direct their inquiry to the Director, Head Coach or Board Member present and agree not to make any assumptions that could be considered as a poor reflection of the integrity of NubAbility Athletics or any of it’s staff. •Each coach will be a good steward of the facility that hosts our programs. Other: •In order to use NubAbility Athletics in good faith on a resume,application, etc., Each coach will agree to notify the Director and or Head Coach that they are doing so. Self-Promotion: Each of our coaches are remarkable and accomplished individuals. All have amazing and inspirational stories to tell. NubAbility is happy to share your story and efforts with others. On social media, please email Media@nubability.org with your happenings and links. Please have the same consideration for us in return. Many of you have a "reach" much greater than ours. Our policy in selling your promotional items in our NubGear shop at our events is: NubAbility gets a donation of 50% of the proceeds. Our NubGear Shop is our biggest fundraiser at our events. It helps us provide the quality programming for the KIDS:) Please detail any items you are requesting be sold at our shop with pricing and a description. Thanks for understanding.
I agree to all of the above bullets on coaching as a volunteer on the NubAbility Athletics Coaching team. I understand that by signing this document, I give them full permission to feature me on their website, in promotional/awareness materials and in social media. I also agree to in full faith bring the best of character and integrity to the team made up of fellow athletes who have also battled adversity and surmounted obstacles in order to enjoy competition and learn life through sport. I understand I am working with youth and will devote my full attention at all times to their growth and safety in my sport area. I understand that NubAbility is a serious sport training organization and I will do my part to ensure success in the youth I coach, both limb different and their siblings.
