Summary of Terms for Summer Crew Scholarship:
Unless Otherwise specified, Summer Crew employees are paid $10.40 per hour. They will be given free housing for the summer (the value of $50/per week) if they are returning in the fall as a student and have at least 50% deducted from their pay to go toward their school bill; however, the cost of housing will be a taxable benefit. If a student does not return to school in the fall, the money put toward his/her school bill will be returned once any outstanding balance is paid and the $50/week for their summer housing is deducted. Summer Crew starts Friday, May 11th, 2018 and runs through Sunday, August 26th, 2018. If approved for the Summer Crew position, you may be asked to limit your participation in Summer School classes. This will be subject to the needs of your assigned department. Summer crew must assist the Facilities Director during the Baccalaureate and Graduation clean up. Summer Crew are eligible for one week of unpaid vacation during the summer, to be approved by their supervisor and are expected to be available during all conferences and campus events. Summer Crew live in the dorms and are expected to follow all campus guidelines under the direction of the Dean of Students. Students who obtain a Summer Crew position will have $50/week deducted from their pay for meals on campus.

Summary of Terms for Summer Boarders/Stowaways:
Summer Stowaways/Boarders must make required financial payments by Friday at 5pm each week. Summer stowaway/boarders will live in the dorms and are expected to follow all campus guidelines under the direction of the Dean of Students. The full Summer student guidelines are available from the Campus Life Office upon request.
**ALL APPROVED STOWAWAY/BOARDER APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A PAYMENT PLAN IN PLACE BY APRIL 18th
*The Stowaway program is designed for students who will attend EBI&C in the Fall semester. In the event that a student does not attend school in the Fall, his/her money will be returned once any bill he/she has is paid.

Summary of Terms for Summer Student Volunteers/International Students:
Summer Volunteers must volunteer for at least 30 hours per week in order to receive free housing and meals. If at any time your volunteer status drops below 30 hours, you may not be able to receive free housing and food. You will be assigned a staff supervisor who will direct your schedule and work responsibilities. You should consider your volunteer position to be similar to working an on-campus job, with the exception of payment, and can be released from your position for infractions such as consistent tardiness, failing to perform work assignments as directed, or failing to follow summer student guidelines. Summer student volunteers will live in the dorms and are expected to follow all campus guidelines under the direction of the Dean of Students. The full summer student guidelines are available from the Campus Life office upon request. Students who volunteer will be considered for a small Elim scholarship based on need and their excellence of service over the summer.
