Application requirements and guidelines
Submit one, if possible, two pieces of writing you think should be suitable.
As the editor, it is imperative that you have some previous MUN experience under your belt. You would be responsible for mentoring the journalists under you and ensuring that all deadlines are met. Needless to say, your communication skills should be vibrant and grammar flawless.
For the selection requirements, you are required to submit the following two documents:A statement of purpose explaining why you should be considered for the editorial position, along with links to your previous work, preferably as an editor. Please provide at least one link. Try not to exceed 500 words.Please watch this video, and write an opinion article (an op-ed article) on the role of judiciary in Cross-Border Relations. As the special correspondent, you will be the syndication's go to guy during any crisis situations. You would have complete dominion in terms of what you cover, however it would be expected of you to interview delegates and participate in video journalism. Some form of prior experience would be required.
For the selection procedure, you are required to submit two documents:
As the special correspondent for Open Source, you are required to interview the delegate of Sudan on his country's human rights track record. Prepare a questionnaire with ten questions, a suitable title for your interview and a 50 words opening statement on the ideology behind your questionnaire.A candid article on the current televised news media in our country in about 300 words. You have complete freedom to follow any line of thought for this article
The file size for individual files should not exceed 100kB. .pdf, .doc,.docx, .odt, .rtf all are acceptable.

You are required to upload an example design suitable for a news magazine. Don't worry, it is only for selection purposes and will not be used during the conference. The upload slots 2 and 3 are for optional content that you may want to upload for the selection panel's benefit. Try sticking to .jpg, .jpeg or .png formats. You can also post links in the relevant field on the next page.

The concept of introducing amateur video journalism to Deltech MUN is still an inchoate one. Therefore we are as much in the dark as you'd be. This only means that you have a great opportunity to pick up any decent videography device and be the candid but informative video journalist that you can be. If that is not your cup of tea, but shooting self-featuring amateur documentary videos is, that will work too. Please apply! We need you! Any videos shot by you at previous MUN conferences should do too.For the selection procedure, post a link of a video shot by you or in which you are being shot as a video journalist and paste the link in the text box on the next page. Try to keep the video under 5 minutes and do not submit more than two links.
