It is one thing to hire a professional photographer to create images, it's another thing to actually do something with them. As you go through this creative process, it's important to decide how you want to display images from your session.
Below are instructions on how to photograph this wall. With this image of your home, we will be able to show you your session images in different configurations and in the correct size at your ordering appointment.
The release permits the use of the session images in our portfolio, including use on future promotional material (either printed or electronic) and on the Brittanie Brown Photography website. It permits us to use your images for national and local print competition through Professional Photographers of America, and allows us to submit your images for fine-art gallery review. It also allows us to post sneak peek previews of your session on the Brittanie Brown Photography blog and/or on Facebook or social media. Please note: we protect our clients privacy and never reveal personal information on the blog.
You agree to hold Brittanie Brown Photography, Brittanie Brown and/or her employees and assistants harmless for any injury, loss or damage to yourself, your family, personal property, and/or animals during your portrait session. Brittanie or her assistants will ask you to stand/sit/pose or take action in certain ways to obtain the best possible images. If you or your family or property are injured or damaged during your time with her, you understand that Brittanie Brown Photography and/or Brittanie Brown nor her assistants are in no way liable for any harm caused, and that any action you take is of you own accord. You understand that animal behavior can be unpredictable and Brittanie Brown is not responsible for any errant actions on the part of your pets. Biting dogs or aggressive animals will be asked to leave the studio immediately and will NOT be photographed.
The session fee is for the time and talent of the photographer only, and does not include any finished portraits or files. The session fee is due at the time of booking. Checks returned by the bank for any reason will be charges a $25 service fee and your session will be cancelled if not paid in full within 5 days.
Rescheduling/Re-Shoots: Requests for rescheduling/re-shoots are granted at my discretion. If you have a sick child on the day of the session please call to reschedule. If you try to keep the appointment, we will most likely request that you reschedule if we notice your child is sick. Sick or uncomfortable children do not like to be photographed and we know that you will not love your portraits nearly as much as if he or she was in good health. I reserve the right to reschedule if needed due to inclement weather, illness, emergency, ect. Failure to show up on the date and time of your session will result int your session fee being forfeited.
Preview and Ordering:
You will view your portraits at a personally attended preview appointment that will take place 1-2 weeks after your session. You will be asked to order at this time. Payment is due in full at the time of ordering. Once your order is placed in-person and with either a Create Your Own Collection purchase or a A La Carte purchase, your purchased files will be uploaded to an online professional lab for printing and/or downloading. We keep all ordered files for one year. All unordered images are purged after 30 days. Missed or additional preview appointments will incur a $100 fee to reschedule.
While Brittanie and her staff do capture many images during your session, you will see only those images selected by her, for previewing. We carefully render each image to ensure maximum artistry and technical perfection. Images with eyes closed, heads turned, duplicates, etc. will not be shown and are removed from my archives permanently after the artist rendering is complete. We always strive for excellence!
Please allow up to 4 weeks for your order to be completed. Some orders may take longer. Your portraits are an investment and an heirloom that should not be rushed. You will be notified by telephone or e-mail when your order is ready for pickup. If you are unable to pick up your order, we can ship your order to you for an additional charge.
Due to the custom nature of the work and the enormous labor/proofing/editing efforts it requires to prepare your order for print or digital delivery, payment for your order must be placed in full and is subject to a 50% cancellation fee should you change your mind about an order after it is placed. Once a print order is sent to the lab or a digital order is delivered, it is deemed nonrefundable. Due to the downloadable nature of digital files, there are NO RETURNS for digital products.Once you view the negatives and accept the files at your viewing appointment, the sale is final. Payments may be made cash, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. We do offer a payment plan. Please inquire.
All ordered images are kept on file for a period of 1 year. All other images are deleted after 30 days to clear our archives for future sessions.
