  • In-Between Executive Position

    Thank you for applying to be part of the executive team of In-Between. I am so excited that you feel passionate about this, and motivated to make change and bring communities together. Keep in mind, we will be the founding board members which means exec job roles are not set in stone. We will work together to solidify who we are and where we want this club to go as well as the roles of each committee.  If you have any immediate questions, text me, Izzy Weiss at (720) 955-6580 and I will apply as soon as I can!

    Mission Statement: 

    “Our mission is to unite and support the Asian American community who feel they don’t strongly identify or align with either their Asian or American culture.”

    Committee Statements of Purpose:

    Social Committee— To foster a bond between committees and In-Between members and create an environment where members feel supported and safe to share their stories as well as meet people who have similar experiences.

    Cultural Outreach Committee— To help In-Between members bridge the divide between their mixed cultures and identities by supporting the exploration and outreach of Asian American cultures. 

    Service Committee— To help “in-between '' communities outside of UC Berkeley by facilitating service events and fundraising with 3rd party Asain American adoption organizations.

  • Please answer the following questions if you are applying for VP of Internal Affairs.

    The VP of Internal Affairs will act as the co-leader of the Social committee and work alongside the VP of Design. Their responsibilities will include: (1) Planning internal social events for all club members such as fun mixers, karaoke, retreat if possible, events for members to open up tell their stories, deeper than karaoke lol (2) Organize a family like structure for all club members such as families or little and bigs (3) Organize and set up the slack account or all members

    The VP of Design will co-lead the Social committee along with the VP of Internal Affairs. Their responsibilities will include: (1) Running all social media accounts (2) Designing apparel and other visual graphics (3) Planning recruitment events 
  • Please answer the following questions if you are applying for VP of Cultural Outreach.

    The VP of Cultural Outreach will act as the leader of the Cultural outreach committee. Their responsibilities will include: (1) Building relationships and communicating with other groups on campus such as AAA, TSA, CSA, etc. (2) Organizing events held with these other groups (3) Planning cultural activities

    The VP of Finance will act as the co-leader of the service committee along with the VP of Service. Their responsibilities will include: (1) Organizing money we raise from our fundraisers (2) Searching for scholarship opportunities for Adoptees

    The VP of Service will act as the co-leader of the service committee along with the VP of finance. Their responsibilities will include: (1) 3rd party outreach for grassroots organizations dealing with international adoption in the Bay Area (2) Planning and finding service projects for members to participate in.
