Expectations for Participation in Google Meets
The district is utilizing Google Meet as a vehicle to provide individualized support to students during Continued Educational Opportunities. This involves video conferencing between school staff and individual students or small groups of students.This resource is used solely for the purpose of supporting the instructional needs of the students invited. During any use of Google Meet, there are expectations of behavior that must be followed in order to maintain the safety and integrity of those participating. All video conferences will be recorded for documentation purposes.
By signing this contract you are agreeing to the following expectations. (please check each box):

1. Please be on time.
2. Appropriate dress is required during participation at all times.
3. No bonnets or head rags.
4.Please mute video when entering in the meeting.
5. Polite and professional language shall be used at all times on camera and in the chat.
6. Please attempt to keep all background noise and distractions to a minimum.
7.Make sure you are sitting upright during class.
8. All cell phones should be put away unless given permission
9.. Attempt to select an area in your home with enough space for necessary items
10.. Speak in a controlled and clear manner so everyone can hear.
11. Promptly exit the meeting when the meeting time is over. Your instructor will be the first one on and the last one out of the meeting.
12. Only accept invitations for meetings from school staff, and do not create your own meetings.
13. Give your best effort online as you would in the classroom.
14. If you can not follow these rules, school administration will be notified, you will be immediately removed from the meeting, and a parent conference will take place.
15. If you continue to be a disruption in class, you will be removed from the meeting.
