Dogs that have deep chests are at greater risk for a life threatening condition, called Gastric Dilatation Vovulus, or "bloat".
A procedure, called a gastropexy, may help decrease this condition in your pet. This can be done laproscopically, and often done at the same time as your pet's spay or neuter.
Bordetella and Canine Influenza vaccinations are recommended if your puppy/dog is going to be participating in these activities.
These activities increase your pet's exposure to ticks. We recommend using tick prevention and vaccinating for Lyme Disease.
Thank you for allowing us to care for your pet. We are looking forward to seeing you at your appointment.
