Dear Students and Teachers:
Due to the dilemma brought about by the pandemic on the educational system, the initial response worldwide was to close the schools and universities. The global lockdown caused a major interruption in the teaching and learning process and disruptions in major examinations or summative assessments.
To facilitate continuity in learning, Saint Mary’s University responded through the use of online teaching, an alternative form of educational delivery which, however, did not work smoothly.
In the event that the pandemic does not die down until the formal opening of the in-coming school year, the University Research Center would like to know your feedback by asking you to respond to this survey, in this research entitled, Issues and Challenges of Covid-19 in SMU. There are two parts of the survey: one for students and the other for teachers. Obviously, if you are a student, please fill in the survey for students. Conversely, if you are a teacher, fill in the survey for teachers. Rest assured that your honest responses will be treated confidentially and will be used as baseline data that will help the Administrators in arriving at guidelines or policies to address the issues or problems likely to be encountered in the new normal educational scenario.
The questionnaire is quite easy to answer as your responses are based on your preferences and experiences. Your prompt response is very much appreciated.
Thank you and God bless.
