    Please complete this form if you would like your child to participate in the online (Zoom) 'CCN Kids' sessions or to contribute content to the pre-recorded videos.

  • We will use this information for the purposes detailed below and as instructed in your consent, and in keeping with our church's Privacy Notice.

    This consent applies for 1 year when the form is submitted but you can contact us at any time if you wish to change or withdraw any of the details of consent given here.

      In the pre-recorded videos we'd LOVE to feature content made by and featuring the children themselves. They can be short videos or photos, or simply drawings or things they've created. We need consent if your child or other people can be recognised in these media. We don't need consent if your child is simply going to watch the videos. You can still submit content providing your child is not identifiable (e.g. photo or video of their hands doing something rather than their faces).

    • How will my content be used? Videos (including audio), photos and other content submitted for the CCN Kids videos will be edited and included alongside other footage to create a 10-15 minute video suitable for children under the age of 6.

    • Where will the pre-recorded videos be circulated? The pre-recorded videos will be available to anyone with a link. Although primarily for use by our church community, the videos will be accessible via YouTube and therefore in the public domain. We may also use the pre-recorded videos (or stills from the videos) in other Longsight Community Church of the Nazarene communications materials, including printed publications or digital media, including Longsight Community Church of the Nazarene website and social media (Facebook & Twitter) which are also in the public domain.

    • Consent for CCN Kids live Zoom socials

      Our 'CCN Kids' Zoom social sessions will be live and are aimed at children aged 5-11 years. We will be using our Longsight Community Church of the Nazarene Zoom account. These sessions will not be recorded or made public, we will also prevent the private chat mode from being used. However, be mindful that this does not stop participants from taking screen shots and sharing on their personal social media networks. Sessions will be led by adults from our church who hold a current DBS.

    • For the socials to work well we need consent for your child to participate in a way that we can see and hear them on Zoom. Sometimes we'll be playing some simple games (e.g. quizzes, scavenger hunts, charades) which only work if people can be seen and heard. This also helps us to know who is online with the group.

    • You don't have to sit with your child during the live Zoom socials but we recommend that an adult or older sibling is available in case your child needs help with Zoom or any instructions given. We also recognise that as we connect online it's tricker to respond to a child if they are upset (we know some children don't like to lose in games etc.). We'll try to follow-up as best we can but please do let one of the session leaders know if we can help in some way. 

    • We're still adjusting to a new way of church and ministry online and trying to find creative ways of including children - thanks for your patience as we continue to navigate this well. Please do not hesitate to contact one of the Pastoral Team if you have any other ideas or questions.
