    • New/Potential staff are required to provide the following:

      TWO FROM GROUP A, or ONE FROM GROUP A and TWO FROM GROUP B.

      You must upload your UK Driving Licence Photo ID Card.  At least one document must show your current address and at least one document must show your date of birth.

    • BS7858 requires that we conduct a Consumer Information Check with a credit reference agency.

    • CRIMINAL OFFENCES 
    • I confirm that I have declared all prosecutions pending and all convictions which cannot be considered ‘spent’, as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. I understand that if I were to be employed by the company and it was subsequently discovered that I have failed to disclose any prosecutions pending, convictions or have been deliberately dishonest or evasive in my response to the questions on this form, I may falsify my position with the company and this may lead to disciplinary action being taken, and constitute grounds for dismissal. 

    • NB: Disclosure is not required where there is a conviction to which the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 applies.  Failure to disclose an unspent conviction may result in summary dismissal. If you are unclear about any of these questions ask the interviewer/HR Manager. Failure to disclose an unspent criminal conviction may result in failing the BS7858. This includes motoring offences.

      • I undertake to cooperate with ESP and/or its nominated agent, in providing any additional information required to meet these criteria;  
      • I authorise ESP and/or its nominated to approach previous employers, schools/colleges, character referees or Government Agencies to verify that the information I have provided is correct and I release them from any liability in doing so.  
      • I authorise ESP and/or its nominated agent, to make a consumer information search with a credit reference agency, which will keep a record of that search and may share that information with other credit reference agencies.  
      • I agree to complete a criminal record check application or authorise ESP and/or its nominated agent, to apply for this as required by the BS7858 Standard.  
      • I understand that some of the information I have provided in this application will be held on a computer and some or all will be held in manual records.
      • I consent to ESP’s reasonable processing of any sensitive personal information obtained for the purposes of establishing my medical condition and future fitness to perform my duties. I accept that I may be required to undergo a medical examination where requested by ESP. Subject to the Access to Medical Records Act 1988, I consent to the results of such examinations to be given to ESP and/or its nominated agent.
      • I understand and agree that if so required I will make a Statutory Declaration in accordance with the provisions of the Statutory Declarations Act 1835, in confirmation of previous employment or unemployment.
      • I hereby certify that, to the best of my knowledge, the details I have given in this application form are complete and correct.  
      • I understand that any false statement or omission to ESP or its representatives may render me liable to dismissal without notice.
    • Agreement to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

      Information collected from you by ESP SECURITY SOLUTIONS is required to complete the application process and to ensure that we have all relevant details regarding you on your records. Information collected by ESP SECURITY SOLUTIONS LTD is kept on file for a maximum of 7 years after your employment termination date. After which time digital records are deleted and any physical copies are shredded. All physical records are stored in locked metal filing cabinets and digital records are stored on a secure restricted access online database and server for ESP use only. The only people who have access to your records, physically or digitally are ESP HEAD OFFICE and management. No information is shared with third parties unless required by the SIA or for sub-contracting. When this is done only the minimum and required information is shared. To confirm that you have read and understood the above please tick the box below. If you do not confirm this, your application will not be processed.

    • Agreement to the ESP Non Disclosure Agreement

      1. The DISCLOSER intends to disclose CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION to the RECIPIENT for the PURPOSE of business.
      2. The RECIPIENT undertakes not to use the CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION for any purpose except the PURPOSE, without first obtaining the written agreement of the DISCLOSER.
      3. The RECIPIENT undertakes to keep the CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION secure and not to disclose it to any third party, except fellow employees who need to know the same for the PURPOSE, who know they owe a duty of confidence to the DISCLOSER and who are bound by obligations equivalent to those in CLAUSE 2 above and this CLAUSE 3.
      4. The undertakings in CLAUSES 2 and CLAUSE 3 above apply to all of the information disclosed by the DISCLOSER to the RECIPIENT, regardless of the way or form in which it is disclosed or recorded but they do not apply to:
      a) any information which is or in future comes into the public domain (unless as a result of the breach of this AGREEMENT); or
      b) any information which is already known to the RECIPIENT and which was not subject to any obligation of confidence before it was disclosed to the RECIPIENT by the DISCLOSER.
      5. Nothing in this AGREEMENT will prevent the RECIPIENT from making any disclosure of the CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION required by law or by any competent authority.
      6. The RECIPIENT will, on request from the DISCLOSER, return all copies and records of the CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION to the DISCLOSER and will not retain any copies or records of the CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION.
      7. Neither this AGREEMENT nor the supply of any information grants the RECIPIENT any license, interest or right in respect of any intellectual property rights of the DISCLOSER except the right to copy the CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION solely for the PURPOSE.
      8. The undertakings in CLAUSES 2 and CLAUSE 3 will continue in force indefinitely.
      9. I hereby agree not to approach or solicit any ESP staff at any time for employment elsewhere.
      10. This AGREEMENT is governed by, and is to be construed in accordance with, English law. The English Courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any dispute which has arisen or may arise out of, or in connection with, this AGREEMENT.

    • Working Time Directive

      The WORKING TIME REGULATIONS 1988 state that an employee cannot be expected to work in excess of 48 hours per week on average. By ticking below, you choose to opt out on the 48 hour limit on working time as stated in the working time regulations, on the understanding that if you work over 48 hours per week it is your choice to do so. You understand that in the event that you wish the 48 hour limit to apply to your employment in the future you will required to notify ESP in writing giving 9 CALENDAR DAYS notice. This is optional.

    • Terms of Declaration

      1.  I certify that to the best of my knowledge, the information that I have given in my application for employment is true and complete and understand that any false statement or omission to ESP SECURITY SOLUTIONS or its representatives may render lead to termination of employment without notice.
      2.  I understand and agree that if so required I will make a Statutory Declaration in accordance with the provisions of the STATUTORY DECLARATIONS ACT 1835 in confirmation of previous employment or unemployment.
      3.  I authorize ESP SECURITY SOLUTIONS or its agents to approach Government agencies, former employers, educational establishments, criminal justice agencies and personal referees for information relating to and verification of my employment/unemployment record.
      4.  I consent to the ESP SECURITY SOLUTIONS reasonable processing of any personal information obtained for the purposes of establishing my medical condition and future fitness to perform my duties.
      5.  I accept that I may be required to undergo a medical examination where requested by ESP SECURITY SOLUTIONS. Subject to the ACCESS TO MEDICAL REPORTS ACT 1988, I consent to the results of such examinations to be given to ESP SECURITY SOLUTIONS and authorise ESP SECURITY SOLUTIONS to make a consumer information search with a credit reference agency, which will keep a record of that search and may share that information with other credit reference agencies.
      6.  I further declare that any documents that I provide as proof of my identity, proof of address, proof of right to work and any other documents that I provide are genuine and give my consent for these documents to be examined under a UV scanner or similar device.
      7.  I acknowledge that any falsified documents may be reported to the appropriate authority.
      8.  SCREENING: Any offer of employment is subject to satisfactory screening. This includes the completion of the mandatory BS7858 VETTING FORM. I sign below to acknowledge that you have understood this and to declare that that you consent to being screened and will provide information as required. That the information provided is correct, and the applicant acknowledges that any false statements or omissions could lead to termination of employment.
