Covid - 19 Guidance for staff.
The below is a guideline for staff operating in licensed venues whilst working for the company.
There will be no unnecessary physical contact, no hand shaking with customers, clients or fellow staff.
All personnel to stay 2 metres apart when practicable to do so, this may be reduced to 1 metre temporarily, but only when required and personnel must revert to 2 metres as soon as possible thereafter. This includes fellow staff, venue team and customers (along with government guidelines this rule can be broken in an emergency.)
During an incident where a person will need to be physically restrained, they should be restrained facing away from staff and other customers where reasonably practicable.
Staff will be allocated a specific area of the venue to monitor. This will be their responsibility for the shift duration. Until further notice, position rotation will not take place.
Where teams are larger than two, staff will respond with a dedicated partner, nominated prior to shift start. They will respond as a pair for the duration of the shift.
Team de-briefing are to be short, and social distancing is to be maintained.
Staff should travel to work in their own vehicles and are not to use public transport. Should two officers require to share a vehicle, one should sit in the rear seat, in the adjacent corner.
Only one staff member to update logbook signing staff in and updating incident logs.
All staff will collect their own soft drinks while working.
Staff should not handle an ID from a customer. Where this is not operationally viable, gloves should be worn. The gloves should be disposed of and replaced regularly through the shift.
