COVID-19 Guidelines
As we enter Phase 1 of our church reopening, the safety and well-being of our members will be our number one priority. Please follow the guidelines listed below to ensure the safety of all members.
Entrance to the Church
- Please enter the Church through the front doors ONLY; all other doors will be locked from the outside.
- Once Inside, practice social distancing AT ALL TIMES! Keep a minimum 6 ft. of distance between other members not part of your household.
- All members are required to wear a facemask upon entering the church. Please bring your own facemasks. Masks WILL NOT be provided.
- All members who attend service are required to sign in (For contact tracing purposes).
- All members should have their temperature checked by a touchless temperature scanner. For the safety of others, Individuals with temperatures above 99°F will be asked to not enter the church.
Church Seating
- A volunteer or church official will assist you in finding your seating area.
- Each row will consist of a maximum of 1 family with a minimum of 6 feet of distance between families.
- There will be a minimum of two empty rows between each occupied row.
- Members living in the same household are encouraged to sit together; there will be no separation between genders during this time.
During Holy Liturgy
- Face masks should be worn for the duration of the service and should only be removed when receiving Holy Communion.
- Members are requested to bring your own Qurbana Books or use digital copies.
- Persons receiving Holy Qurbana should adhere to social distancing guidelines and wear a mask while in line. Please remove masks ONLY when receiving Holy Communion.
- Members not attending Service and only receiving Holy Communion should wait in their cars until called by a church official. Once notified, please follow guidelines listed above when receiving Holy Qurbana.
After Service
- After Holy Liturgy, members should exit the Church ONLY through designated exits.
- Social gathering in the Parish Hall is discouraged. If you must use the basement, please do so responsibly by social distancing and wearing masks.
- There will be NO food provided after Holy Qurbana.
- Bathrooms will be open, please adhere to social distancing guidelines.
- All high-risk areas (door handles, stair handrails, church benches etc.) will be disinfected after each Service.
High Risk Individuals
- Members who may be high risk are encouraged to remain at home and participate in Liturgy through our live streaming service. This may apply to:
- Persons 65 and older who have underlying medical conditions
- Medical frontline workers
- Children under the age of 10
Important Considerations
- For the safety of others, if you are experiencing symptoms or think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, PLEASE STAY HOME.
- If you think you have been exposed and have attended service, please contact the Vicar or a church official IMMEDIATELY.
