To foster international academic exchange activities, the university has formulated the "Taipei Medical University International Academic and Exchange Activities Subsidy Plan", which is eligible for only following activities:
1. Inviting overseas scholars to deliver a speech or short-term lecture.
2. Hosting overseas exchange or intern student(s).
3. Hosting TMU student overseas experience sharing workshop(s)

A TMU supervisor from the college/ department must be notified prior to the subsidy application.
Qualifications:
Elegible for application only after the organizer has applied for external funds.

Reimbursement Reminders
Inviting overseas scholars to deliver a speech or short-term lecture
Please send the following documents (both hard and soft copies) to the Global Partnerships Section (gps@tmu.edu.tw) within 3 days after the completion of the event or when notified of the application's approval:
- Boarding pass (if given subsidy for airfare)
- E-ticket (if granted the subsidy for the airfare fee)
- Proof of ticket payment (if granted the subsidy for the airfare fee)
- Copy of visiting scholar's passport
- Agenda of the activity
- Receipt for speech fee (signd by the visiting scholar)
- Activity report (in word form)

A TMU supervisor from the college/ department must be notified prior to the subsidy application.
Qualification:
The duration of the exchange program or internship should be 5 working days or more, and only TMU faculty or staff can apply for the subsidy.
