GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Show is run under NZWRF and AQHANZ Rules and is points approved. Please refer to Rule book or ask Show Committee if you have any questions. We are running the minimum classes for Halter; these are not points approved.
2. Protests – Any protest as per NZWRF rules must be lodged in writing accompanied by a $25 non refundable fee, to the show committee within 30 minutes of the event in question.
3. Amateur/Novice Amateur competitors must hold a current NZWRF Amateur Card which must be carried and shown to the gate steward or a copy sent with your entry form.
4. Mandeville Sports Club no longer provides rubbish collection for us, so we please ask that you take all your rubbish home with you, as we no longer have the means of disposal.
5. Entry Fees paid to NZWRF SI Account 06 0939 0062415 00 – Please state your name and Champ Show as reference.
6. CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES – 19th November 2020 – No late entries will be taken.
7. Refunds – Competitors must produce a Vet or Doctors certificate within 7 days of the first day of the show to obtain a refund. 75% of total entry will be refunded, less admin cost.
8. Prize Money – 1st to 3rd place - $10, $8, $6 (if there are 6 or more in class). Prize money will be $8, $6, $4 (if 4 or 5 in class) No prize money will be awarded if less than 4 in class. Sponsored product may be substituted for prize money.
9. Open Showcase Classes 15, 24, 31, 40, 53, 62, 70 & 79 – Sponsored classes. Winner to receive embroidered Horse Rug and Prize Money will be 1st - $35, 2nd - $20, 3rd - $15 if 4 or more in class (If 3 or less, will be adjusted accordingly). These classes are NP.
10. The Rider with the highest combined score in any of the Reining and Ranch classes will receive a Buckle sponsored by Phil & Dawn Webb Performance Horses, Australia – See below Rules for this award.
11. Hi Point and Reserve Rosettes will be presented at the end of the Show – These have been sponsored by Koriana Osborne, Mitana Quarter Horse Stud
12. Lead Line and Walk/Jog classes run under NZWRF Rules.
13. Safety and Welfare of the people and animals – you are expected to act, at all times, in a safe and considerate manner. Please be aware of risks and hazards that exist on the showgrounds and act accordingly.
14. Only horses entered in the Show are allowed on the Show grounds.
15. Stallion Yards available. Stallions/colts must be yarded and/or supervised at all times. Stallions/Colts to be given priority for allocated stallion yards, followed by sponsors.
16. Horses and ponies must be individually penned behind hot tape or otherwise yarded. Horses can be yarded at the discretion of the Show Committee.
17. Dogs, must be on a leash at all times during the Show.
18. Food Onsite: Kebab King Souvlaki Food Van/Coffee – cash only sales!

Hi Point Ranch & Reining Buckle will be awarded to the same rider/horse combination, with the highest combined score in any one ridden category/division for Ranch and Reining (open to all NZWRF affiliated members, must be a current paid up member of an NZWRF Club/Assocation)
Rules as follows:
1. Classes are detailed below and cannot be swapped. Scores are taken from the same classes e.g. Ranch Adult/Reining – Adult for the combined scores
2. The scores will be combined and the highest overall, awarded the Buckle.
3. Must be same horse/rider combination.
4. Tie breakers to be decided by using rule 89c of NZWRF. If after using this system, a tie still stands, then the least number of penalties for the reining elements will be taken into account.
5. The Buckle will be awarded at the end of the Show.
6. Only current NZWRF affiliated members are eligible to compete for the Buckle.
