       Dear Parent/Carer,

      Mount Beauty Primary School is looking forward to another great year of teaching and learning and would like to advise you of our parent payment arrangements for 2021.

      Please find below the fee schedule for 2021. Please complete this form and return to the school by Friday 20th November so the school can prepare accordingly.

      Mount Beauty Primary School makes every effort to keep the cost of items and activities to a minimum and affordable cost for all parents.

      Financial Support for Families
      Mount Beauty Primary School understands that some families may experience financial difficulty and offers a range of support options, including:
      • the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF)
      • Centrepay (for parents / carers who receive Centrelink benefits)
      • Fortnightly or monthly payment plans

      Payment Methods
      We offer a variety of payment options to assist our families.
      • Eftpos is available at the office
      • BPay – your individual reference number is on your Family Statement
      • Direct Deposit – bank account details are found on your Family Statement
      • Centrepay instalments – for eligible families (see below)
      • Cash / Cheque

      Centrepay instalments are recommended for families who receive Centrelink benefits to assist with Parent Payments. Contact Heather in the office if you would like further information about Centrepay. Centrepay is an easy and affordable way to pay off your fees throughout the year. Application forms are available at the office and can be submitted online by Heather.

      The Camps Sports & Excursion Fund (CSEF) is available for eligible families. Families holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply. Application forms can be accessed here or request a copy from the Office. Parents who currently receive the CSEF and who remain eligible will automatically have their 2021 application processed by the School.

      Individual Student Book Pack

      An itemised list of each year level is available here  (to do)

      Our School takes great care to minimize costs by ordering in bulk, discounted stationary.  However, families do have the option to purchase their own book pack supplies as per the above list.

      Art Consumables

      This charge includes art items sich as paint, craft paper, glitter, cardboard, etc. 

      Online Learning subscriptions to Reading Eggs, Wushka, SeeSaw and LanguageNut.  Your child will receive logins and passwords and can access these programs at home.

       

      Swim program.  This charge is for pool entry for 8 days of lessons.  This charge applies to all students, regardless of whether they have a family pool pass or not.  

      Bus travel for x-country and Junior Sports day

      A valuable part of our curriculum for all students.

       

       Headphones

      Students from Prep-Year 6 are now required to have an individual set of headphones to be kept at school during the School year.  You can purchase from the School for $10 or provide your own.

       

       Prep Reader & Library Bag

      Required for all Prep students.

       

       Voluntary Charge

      These parent donations go towards supporting new equipment and grounds improvements. A suggested amount is $60 / student or you may choose to nominate an alternative payment.


      Your child will not be disadvantaged if you do not make a voluntary contribution. All records of voluntary contributions are kept confidential as well as your decision about whether to make a contribution or not.

      Please note that these voluntary contributions are not tax deductable.

    • Mount Beauty Primary School offers a range of optional items and activities that are in additional to the delivery of the standard curriculum. These items and activities are designed to broaden the school experience for your child. Further information will be provided throughout the year about each of these events and will be invoiced separately.                       2021 Parent Payments are due Wednesday 29 January 2021.  If you have selected a regular payment plan or centrepay this date will be extended.  We offer a variety of payment option to suit all families and please contact our Business Manager, Heather in the Office on 03 5754 4354 if you would like to discuss alternative payment options.
