ATTENTION!
Please be aware of the differences between cleaning, sanitization, disinfecting, and sterilization.
Cleaning: with soap and water removes impurities, germs, and dirt. Surfaces should be cleaned before disinfecting.
Sanitization: reduces bacteria on the surface.
Disinfecting: destroys pathogenic microorganisms on the surface.
Sterilization: eliminates all forms of life including viruses, bacteria, and fungi.
The following steps must be done before every shift

Reception Area

Discard all items in the reception area that cannot be disinfected	1
Wipe down all soft surfaces as chairs and sofas with wet towel	2
Clean and disinfect all hard surfaces as reception desk, computers, keyboards, phones, door handlers, light switches	3
Clean and disinfect shelving, glass, and display cases	4
Place instructions to notify clients about COVID-19 precautions	5
Ensure disinfection stations in the reception area are operational and hand sanitizers are available	6
Ensure single-use masks and galoshes be available in the entrance	7

Treatment Rooms

Disinfect containers with spray and wipe	8
Clean and disinfect all porosity free areas and implements used in services by all states as immersion, spray, or wipe	9
Store disinfected implements in disinfected closed containers	10
Clean and disinfect all electrical equipment used in services	11
Clean and disinfect chairs and headrests	12
Clean and disinfect station, rolling carts, and drawers.	13
Ensure all single use items are new	14
Ensure disinfection stations in treatment rooms are operational and hand sanitizers are available	15

Restrooms
