  • This Student Housing Agreement (the "Agreement"), is executed by and between the University’s Office of Student Affairs (hereinafter known as the "University,") and the undersigned student whose name appears below, (hereinafter known as "Student.")

    This Agreement is between the University and the individual student where said student is provided a grant for eligibility or license to use the University's facilities.

  • Eligibility

    An eligible student for the Student Housing Program is defined as a student officially admitted for attendance to the current school year as a full-time student (12 units) to a course or academic program that requires physical attendance.

    Upon qualification and should the Student be married, his or her direct family including dependents below 18 years old may be allowed to stay in the assigned Student Housing. 

    As proof of filiation and dependence, a student may be required to submit the following: 1) Birth Certificate of children; 2) Marriage Certificate; 3) Tax Returns; 4) Certificate of Adoption; 5) Any other relevant documents necessary for to prove filiation. 

  • Who is not eligible

    A student who withdraws from the University at any time, or has been dismissed for any cause shall not become eligible for the Program. Likewise, a student who graduates from his or her academic program shall cease to be eligible for the Program.

  • Accommodation

    This Agreement shall automatically renew upon the end of the academic period where the student has not withdrawn or has not graduated from the academic program for which he or she pursues unless otherwise a notice has been given by the University to the student a notice for termination of this Agreement.

    The University may likewise n its sole discretion, allow to the Graduating Student an agreement Agreement for extension upon receiving a written request for an extension.

  • Payment and Pay Period

    Eligible students shall have exclusive use of the house assigned to him for the amount of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month.

    A security deposit at the amount of two hundred dollars ($200.00) shall be paid upon confirmation of the use of the assigned house to the student. The amount shall be returned to the student after the end or termination of this agreement, subject to deductions due to damage incurred on the assigned house during the student's stay.

    Student may have an option to pay quarterly, monthly, per semester, or yearly. The student may choose any of the options available upon enrollment. The student may pay in cash, card, or through tuition fee installment payments charging.

    Payments can be made through the University's Bursar Office or via online through the University's online payment portal.

  • Subletting

    No student granted eligibility to the Student Housing Program may sublease the property to anyone, in whole or in part. 

  • Student's Duties and Responsibility

    It shall be the responsibility of the student to adhere to the policies contained herein, as well as be updated with the policies set forth by the University that may be revised from time to time. The following are the general guidelines set forth by the University for the use of the house assigned to the student:

    1. Student shall not have pets in the house, without prior consent given by the University. Except for which can be placed in an aquarium of 5 gallons or less of water.
    2. Student shall not be allowed to alter, or modify the interior structure of the house, unless otherwise permitted by the University.
    3. The Student shall exercise proper ventilation practices while residing in a student housing assignment. The university is not responsible for any damage caused by mold or mildew due to the environmental changes.
    4. Student is not allowed to puncture walls or install hooks on walls or ceilings, without proper authorization of the University.
    5. Student shall promptly report to the University any damage on the house assigned to the said Student, especially damage caused by ordinary or extraordinary wear and tear.
    6. Student shall not deny any opening or closing inspection of the premises, health and safety inspections, maintenance procedures including HVAC, plumbing, or electrical maintenance by a University representative, staff, or employee
    7. Any damage caused by the Student or his or her family members due to negligent or direct causes shall be charged against the student.
  • Default

    The University shall have the right to recover immediate possession over the property assigned to the Student should the Student be found to have violated any of the terms and conditions in this agreement or any policies in the Student Handbook that is punishable by expulsion.

  • Vacating the Premises

    Upon termination of this Agreement, Student shall vacate the Student Housing Assignment. An inspection shall be made on the premises. Any damage on the premises shall be subject to payment shouldered by the Student assigned, except for damages subject to acceptable or ordinary wear and tear.

  • Force Majeure

    The University shall not be responsible for any failure to perform of any of the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement for which said University has no control or could not be prevented, including but not limited to Acts of God, civil disturbance, terrorism, war, risk to public health and safety including endemic, epidemic, pandemic, or outbreaks.

    The University reserves the right to close any housing facility for the interest of the health and safety of the students. In such cases, the University reserves the right to modify or adjust the housing charges as may be deemed appropriate. Provided further that the instruction to vacate has been ordered by the University.

  • ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

    By signing below, I hereby acknowledge that I have read the terms and conditions of this agreement in compliance to my eligibility for the Student Housing Program. I hereby declare that I have been sufficiently informed of my responsibilities and have had the opportunity to clarify the unclear matters on the Student Housing Program and I hereby sign this agreement as my free act and deed with full intention to be bound by the same, free from any inducement or representation.
