PERSONAL DETAILS

Please READ through the following to review our Policies and Procedures:

PARKING:

•  The staff/team of CANVAS Salon should park in the parking lot closer to the Dollar General.

LICENSE:

• Please bring a valid copy of your NC Cosmetology License to be displayed at the salon.
• If you are unable to locate a valid copy, please let a manager or owner know.

KEY & ALARM:

• The staff/team of CANVAS Salon will be assigned a key and an alarm code.
• The key is the responsiblity of each staff member and should not be given to anyone other than the owner or manager.
• If a member of the staff/team loses their key, they must report it to the owner or manager.
• Please do not loan your key to another team member. 
• The alarm system can be activated and deactivated by an app or the employee code on the wall unit.
• The alarm should be armed every evening after the last staff member has left.
• The alarm should be disarmed every morning when the first staff member has arrived.

DRESS CODE:

• CANVAS Salon does not have a formal dress code, we encourage our staff to use their best judgement, and if unable to find appropriate wear always select a "Business Casual" warddrobe.
• Members of the staff/team are encouraged to show off their individual styles and aesthetic, however the following types of clothing/apparel are not allowed:
  • Flipflops
  • Anything that would be considered racist or disparaging to any group of people
  • Short shorts, micro shorts, micro skirts
  • Sweatpants

BARBICIDE CERTIFICATION

• All stylists should endeavor to take either Barbicide Certification, these are free.
• Once the team member has passed the cert, a PDF will be sent to your email, please email a copy to hello@canvassalonnc.com so it can be printed and displayed near your license.
