President, Leslie Rush
1) Due to Elizabeth Churchman's resignation from the position of President Elect, Renee Speight has advanced into the position of President Elect. This left the Vice President position vacant therefore the Presidential Advisory Committee asked Suzanne Kucharczyk to serve as Vice President for the remainder of the term. She has agreed to serve in the position of Vice President. THANK YOU SUZANNE!
2) Conference Facilities/Services/AV Contract was signed to transfer AR CEC 2020 to Oct. 21st-22nd, 2021. Board will arrive and meet on Oct. 20th.
3) National CEC Conference is going virtual March 8th-13th. Learning Interactive Virtual Event (L.I.V.E.), featuring 700+ on-demand sessions, 3 keynote presentations, 30 live mainstage sessions, 400 poster videos, a series of pre-conference workshops, and more. 2022 will return to an in person conference in Orlando, FL. Since we chose to pause on our 2020 conference, I plan to work with Jeryca to promote the National Conference and offerings each week until the event. Early Bird Registration ends Oct. 31st.
4) CEC has incredible resource links to free CEC webinars for teachers AND administrators. Make sure to refer others, share links on social media, and take advantage of all CEC has to offer.
5) Interested in being a part of National CEC’s committees? The following positions are available for terms beginning Jan. 1, 2021: Finance and Audit Standing Committee: 2 positions; 3-year terms Honors Committee: 2 positions: 2-year terms Policy Steering Committee: 3 positions; two 3-year term and one 2-year term. 6) Our Survey Monkey has expired and rates have increased once again. We are working on a 25% nonprofit discount rate before paying the new invoice. Our application was approved but we are waiting for our invoice to be updated. Until then we will not have access to the paid version on Survey Monkey.
7) 2021 Conference Planning: Is there an area you would like to be involved in brainstorming for our upcoming conference? Keynote speakers, breakout speakers, sponsors, vendors, etc.

1) AR-DADD is working across 3 Universities (UA, Henderson, Arkansas State) to create resources for educators working with students with significant disabilities across the state. Resources are being created as templates for how to support learning with students who are distance/virtual learning. These should be completed and shared on a website by early 2021. We have sent a survey of needs across the state and received back about 80 responses (see distribution across state). We hope these resources support educators and families.

1) See voting under Treasurer's report to determine how I move forward with the website.
2) When Facebook updated, it removed everyone from our Nonprofit Facebook account as "admin". It moved previous admin, Leslie and Melanie, to editor role which cannot add me on as admin. Therefore, I've been up able to maintain social media as I would like. We've attempted to contact Facebook help multiple times without correspondence.
We would love your input on what to do with our inability to add our Communications chair to the current Registered Non-Profit Facebook page.
Do we start a completely new Facebook page with our AR CEC email and hope our 581 people rejoin?
Do we continue with current page and wait to see if our Facebook ticket is worked out (7 weeks so far)
Do we continue with current page and repost/share from a personal account?
