Hi CC4All Participants,
What is Compassionate Care Adventures?
Compassionate Care Adventures (CCA) aims to provide a range of unique opportunities in the way of camps and activities to children, youth and adults diagnosed with a disability in the Geelong and Colac regions.
Some examples of the camps our participants have enjoyed include; 4 night cruise to Hamilton Island, Grampians, Noosa, Gold Coast, Ballarat, Warrnambool Big 4, Phillip Island and the Snow.
On occasions, we may place participants in a small group where they undertake the same activity. Arrangements will be made prior to this occurring if 1:1 support is deemed necessary. In this instance, each participant can be supported individually.
We invite you to complete our Jotform (electronic form) if you would like your child to attend our latest Compassionate Care Adventure. Once submitted, you will receive an email from Jotform confirming your submission straight away. (If you do not receive this email, please check your junk/spam email or contact us at email@example.com to confirm we have received your submission).
You will also receive an email from CC4All Admin at a later date. This will be your confirmation, once places and staff have been allocated.
As per CC4All's Cancellation Policy regarding camps, as soon as confirmation is received from CC4All via email, full support costs will be charged if you cancel your child's place. CC4All will do our best to find a replacement to fill the cancelled spot. If a replacement can be found, charges may still be incurred for things like swapping plane tickets from one participant's name to another, etc. These costs will be charged to the participant who cancelled not the participant filling the vacated spot on camp.
Camp costs e.g. tickets, entry fees, are to be paid per person (pp), either by Direct Bank Deposit, as CC4All is no longer accepting cash payments on the day, for health & safety reasons, or they can be converted into hours and added to the invoice for the day. For example, an extra 15 mins (more or less, depending on the activity cost) might be added to the invoice for the day to incorporate the activity cost.
Direct Bank Deposit Details are as follows:
Account Name: Compassionate Care 4 All Pty Ltd
BSB No. 013 645
Account No. 4235 15815
Reference: Your child’s name & program e.g. J. Smith CCA (Compassionate Care Adventures)
Kilometres travelled during each program are charged at the rate of support. For example, if a participant is supported 1:1 and travels in a car or bus by themselves with a staff member, they will be charged for all the kilometres travelled. If a participant attends a group program, and travels in a car or bus with other participants, the travel cost is split between the ratio of participants in that vehicle, e.g. 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 or 1:5. The maximum ratio we are able to split travel costs into is 1:5, even though our maximum staff to participant ratio is 1:3. CC4All will always do our best to make expenses such as travel, as cost effective as possible for our participants.
Our participant's needs and requirements are always our most important considerations when planning our group programs. It is with this in mind, that it will be at CC4All's discretion to decide staff to participant ratios for each program. For example, if we believe a participant is safe and capable as part of a group of 3, we would not suggest supporting them 1:1. The same works in reverse, if we believe a participant requires 1:1 support, we would not recommend having them supported with others at a 1:3 ratio.
As we all are aware, we now live in a vastly different time due to COVID-19. We aim to offer fun and exciting activities for our participants but ask for your patience and understanding if things should change at short notice due to circumstances beyond our control, e.g. government restrictions.
Please note: CC4All aims to accommodate as many participants needs and disabilities as possible. We kindly ask you to think about each program on offer and its suitability and/or interest to your child when expressing your interest.
Submissions close on Wednesday 9th of December, 2020.
Thanks, CC4All Team
