RULES/GUIDELINES FOR COMPETING
• Each contestant must be a natural born female and unmarried, must not be pregnant and must not have had a child/children.
• The entry fee of R500 must be paid before submitting this form, and the form must be submitted on/before 28 February 2021.
• A further compulsory fee for charity must be paid by qualifying finalists by 31 May 2021(amount to be communicated to the qualifying finalists in writing).
• Charity work by all finalists will take place from 15 March - 30 June 2021( instructions will be sent to all qualifying finalists).
• All charity work done by each contestant will count towards each contestant’s total score.
• Photos and footage submitted by contestants will be used for promotional purposes (within the legal prescripts).
• All funds/fees/charity contributions/donations paid are not refundable under any circumstances.
• This form must be accompanied by:
(a) a copy of proof of payment with a reference number
(b) 2 full colour photos (1 full length and 1 head & shoulders )
• The proof of payment, and the two full colour photos can also be emailed to info@cosmospageants.co.za
• Contestants’ images, photos, footage will be used on broadcasting channels for promotional purposes (as per our media partnership agreements with various channels).
• Travelling to Johannesburg for the finals on 18 July 2021 is at each finalists’ own costs.
• All finalists are to participate in the digital voting system from March to July 2021 (further information to be provided to qualifying finalists)
• All contestants agree to use the hashtags of all the sponsors as will be provided by the organisers.
• Contestants should only tag Miss Cosmos SA on social media posts relevant to the pageant.
• Failure to adhere to the rules will result in automatic disqualification of a contestant.
CHARITY PARTICIPATION
* It is compulsory for each finalist to participate in charity activities from 15 March to 30 June for the following two organisations:
* Johannesburg Child Welfare
* Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa (CHOC)
A wishlist will be shared with all contestants after the closing date. Each contestant will collect whatever items she can afford on the wish-list eg: 5 tins of Lusky Star fish or 3 bars of Sunligh Washing Soap - All items will be donated to the organisations. Any type of donation is welcome. There will be a prize for the top charity contestant.
