We hope that as many people as possible will have the opportunity to join an in-person event on the second day of the conference as a step towards starting, growing or strengthening local communities of OD practitioners throughout Europe.
For this to happen we need people who are willing to act as hosts. First and foremost this means being able to provide a location, however small, where participants can meet. To be as inclusive as possible the idea is that there should not be any additional cost to the participants unless it’s to pay for any food or other refreshment.
As a host you can decide to what extent you want to facilitate the gathering at the location you are providing. Starting on January 19th there will be an online meeting once a month for hosts, together with the conference design team, to share ideas, discuss content and process and ask questions. You can join the first meeting, or contact a member of the design team via info@odneurope.org, if you want to find out more about being a host.
As well as making a valuable contribution to the OD community, hosting the event is an opportunity to grow your professional network as well as profile and develop your skills.
COVID-19
We anticipate that by the time of the conference it will be possible for small groups to get together inside but it’s essential that any local rules are complied with and that people feel safe. The situation can change very quickly so we expect people to be understanding if there are last minute changes or cancellations.
Please complete this form if you’re interested in hosting the event on Day 2 of the conference.
