NWSA REQUIRED CORE CLASSES 

You must select at least 1 course from each area listed below.  A student may be subject to be placed in an Intensive Reading Course based on ELA results, in substitute of an elective. 

This applies to all level courses.

Electives

Please check 3 electives in order of preference (ex. 1,2,3).

You are NOT guaranteed your first choice. 

Failure to choose 3 electives will result in electives being chosen for you. 

World Languages

Two years of the SAME Foreign Language is required for College/University admissiions and for Bright Futures Scholarships but not required to graduate.

FLORIDA VIRTUAL SCHOOL (FLVS):

Students are required to speak to their Counselors regarding our E-Learning Lab for Florida Virtual School (FLVS) to be eligible to enroll in FLVS, the student testing history will be evaluated by the Counselor.

Student MUST select 1 annual course (1.0 Credit) or 2 semester courses (0.5 credit each).

All FLVS courses require Counselor approval. 

Note: On-line courses listed above are subject to change at the discretion of FLVS. 

I understand that courses are subject to availablity.  I also understand that if I score below grade level standards on the FSA/ELA, I may lose some of my electives, Finally, I understand that FLVS changes will not accepted after February 18th, 2021.

Please be aware that your enrollment in any Honor/AP coourse is temporary, pending the evaluation, and approval of this course selection.  Any request to switch out of an Honors/AP course must be completed by February 18th, 2021.  After this date, no schedule changes will be considered, NO EXCEPTIONS.
