• ENTRY Card - Division II - Horticulture - Classes 1-5

  • Each entry will be one (1) stem or branch not to exceed 24” in total length. Any foliage must be attached to the stem. Photographs should be taken against a solid white background unless the bloom is white or a very pale color, in which case a solid black background is permissible. Use whichever background color best complements your specimen. Specimens propagated by the exhibitor must include a propagation card.

    • Photo Requirements for Classes 1-5

      You will need five (5) images renamed and sized 1-5 MB each to complete your entry card.

      • Renaming your image files:the simplest way to rename your files is by either double-clicking or right-clicking on the file name and typing in the new name. Another (more detailed) method can be foundhere for Mac usersandhere for PC users.

      Images required for Classes 1-5* are:

      • Photo 1:A view of the specimen from the tip of the bloom(s) to the bottom of the stem, including the container, and showing compliance with size parameters next to a ruler.

      • Photo 2:A front view of the specimen from the top of the container to the tip of the bloom(s) filling the frame as much as possible. The image should not show the container. Include foliage if possible.

      • Photo 3:Side view of the specimen from the top of the container to the tip of the bloom(s) filling the frame as much as possible. The image should not show the container. Include foliage if possible.

      *Note: Class 3. Helleborus: Make sure your bloom is in the flowering stage.

      Tip: Do not upload images directly from your mobile device to this form! If you upload directly from your phone you won’t be able to easily rename your file. Also, you won’t be able to preview the photograph you are submitting. Save the image to your desktop or files first, rename it, then upload it to the form.
