• Staff Longevity & Attrition Survey

CO SERVE is trying to assist the US Directors by collecting data regarding the most common reasons that staff leave CO in either of these two manners:

    1. They leave before they have reached their maximum leadership contribution to the CO pipeline- these would be UNWANTED trsnsitions.

    2. They leave in ways that are unhealthy/damaging to the pipeline and they leave as unhealthy people- these would be UNHEALTHY transitions.

Your contribution to this effort is a critical step in this endeavor. After this data has been assessed, results and recommendations will be shared with you.

Please take the next 45 minutes to work through the following questionnaire. Thanks for your cooperation.

  • Please list the names of the last 15 or so staff members who left your region's or Network's pipeline. Then answer the following 6 questions for each staff person.

Please note: The staff listed could be anyone from a regional director to a 1-2 year intern as well as resource staff. We want to know about any staff in your region.

There is a button at the bottom left to add additional lines.

  • If CO Serve or the Network Directors were to develop training on any two of the reasons listed below for why staff make unhealthy and/or unwanted exits from CO pipelines, which two topics would you be most interested in?
  • Many thinkers and cultural observers have noted that the generation entering into college, in some respects, is less mature than those in generations past. From what you are experiencing, would you agree that these students are less mature in some meaningful ways than those students entering college as recently as 8-10 years ago?
  • If CO Serve or the Network Directors developed training regarding some of the above 8 traits, what would your interest level be in this training for your region?
