  • Important note regarding COVID-19: We are following the most up-to-date CDC guidance and working in conjunction with Kansas City's Health Department to bring the magic of live theatre back into our lives in the safest possible manner.

     

    ROAR is a new work in development. All individuals cast are asked to commit to participation in both the Mid-May Staged Reading and the Summer 2021 Kansas City Fringe Festival.

    Actors will be paid a stipend for their participation.

    Please note that all performances will take place outdoors, and all rehearsals will take place with open air.

     

    Important Dates:

    Callbacks: Tuesday, March 30, 6-8pm

    Read/Singthrough: Sunday, April 18, 1-5pm

    Staged Reading Rehearsals:
    Saturday, May 8, 2021, 11am-5pm
    Monday, 10, 2021 – Thursday, May 13, 2021, 6pm-10pm

    Staged Reading Performances:
    Friday, May 14, 2021 - Actor Call: 5:30pm, Curtain: 7pm
    Saturday, May 15, 2021 - Actor Call/Brush Up Rehearsal: 2pm, Curtain: 7pm

    Fringe Festival Rehearsals and Filming:
    Evenings and/or weekends in late May. Schedule will be determined by cast availability.

    • Auditions will take place on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at The Black Box located at 1060 Union Ave, Kansas City, MO 64101 by appointment only. Plan to arrive 10-15 mintues prior to your scheduled audition time slot.

      Arrive masked, but know that we will request your mask be removed for the duration of your audition. This will take place in open air, and all others present will remain masked and distanced. 

      Please come prepared to sing 16-32 bars of music from the show. Vocal sides and song demos will be provided to you by email once this form has been submitted.  Bring your book, as we may request to hear additional material from you.
