Disney Dining Definitions

* ADR- You will hear this term often at Walt Disney World.  This stands for Advanced Dining Reservation.  Currently the ADR date is 60 days prior to arrival.  It is common for some restaurants to fill up within minutes of reservations opening each morning at 7am. 

* Quick Service-  Does not require Advanced Dining Reservations/ You order at a counter and seat yourself/ Less expensive than Table Service options and many offer mobile ordering service. $- average $19 adult, $11 child

* Table Service-  Advanced Dining Reservations highly encouraged/ You’re seated at a table and a server takes your order/ More expensive than Quick Service options and a leisurely pace taking up to 2 hours.  $$-$$$ depending on location- average $42-$50 adult, $25-$30 child

* Signature Dining-  These are Disney’s best restaurants and provide unparalleled cuisine and only the finest fare Disney chefs can prepare. These are the meals that are going to offer the most unique menus and ambiance on a higher scale.  Perfect for a celebration!  $$$$- $50-$75 adult, $25-$30 child

I have highlighted some of the major types of Disney Dining below.  They are grouped by the type of experience.  There is a brief description and photo for each restaurant.  Please select all options in each experience that you would enjoy or be interested in dining at.

• TOPOLINO'S TERRACE $$-  Offers French and Italian cuisine, along with sweeping rooftop views.  Character Dining is available for breakfast. Breakfast begins with fresh pastries and bread. Entrées include Quiche Gruyère with house-made pancetta, Sour Cream Waffle, Smoked Salmon, Two Eggs Any Style, and more. 

• CHEF MICKEY'S $$$-Prepare for an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast feast as the monorail whizzes by. Enjoy breakfast breads, traditional breakfast entrées such as Mickey waffles, and selections from Chef Mickey’s Signature entrees—including banana bread French toast, loaded potato-cheese casserole and the “Celebration” Mickey pancake. 

• HOLLYWOOD & VINE $$$-Celebrate breakfast with Disney Junior Stars or enjoy lunch and dinner with Minnie and friends at seasonal dining parties. The breakfast features shared pastries— including caramel monkey bread and mini muffins —as well as individually-plated entrees such as four-egg omelets, a plant-based frittata, and all-you-care-to-enjoy house-made pancakes.

• CINDERELLA'S ROYAL TABLE $$$$-  Dine inside Cinderella Castle during this one-of-a-kind Fairytale Dining experience. Prepare yourself for an enchanted lunch or dinner with main course selections ranging from roasted chicken breast and tenderloin of beef to chef’s fish of the day. 

• SANAA $$-Experience the art of African cooking with Indian flavors, as exotic animals roam the Sunset Savanna before you.  For your entrée, select from tender meats and seafood slow-cooked in gravy—such as butter chicken—as well as vegetarian dishes. A range of sampler platters lets you choose a variety of flavors, and kid-friendly fare like fish, beef burgers, and pizza is sure to please even the pickiest of palates.

• CORAL REEF RESTAURANT $$-Enjoy intimate dining and spectacular views of a living coral reef—and more than 2,000 amazing sea creatures who call it home! Start off with a sumptuous appetizer like lobster bisque. Then, select from our seasonal menu, where entrées may include sautéed shrimp and grits or oven-roasted chicken breast. 

• BIERGARTEN $$$-  Celebrate Oktoberfest all year long with authentic German cuisine and lively entertainment.  At biergarten-style tables, enjoy such rotating selections as bratwurst, rotisserie chicken, pork schnitzel and a variety of salads. Save room for Bavarian cheesecake and hand-pulled apple strudel, made fresh daily! 

• LIBERTY TREE TAVERN $$-Pay tribute to our founding fathers as you dine at this stately colonial-style inn serving traditional New England-inspired fare.  Enjoy a full-on feast for lunch or dinner: the all-you-care-to-enjoy Patriot’s Platter, piled high with roasted turkey breast, pot roast and oven-roasted pork, and accompanied by traditional sides. 

• THE CRYSTAL PALACE $$$-Dine in Victorian splendor in this greenhouse-inspired Crystal Palace, idyllically set on Main Street, U.S.A. with views of Cinderella's Castle. Begin with your dining experience with a seasonal salad and homestyle biscuits. Choose your entree from a pre-fixe menu including crispy fried chicken with honey pot drizzle, fire-roasted prime rib of beef or plant-based crispy-fried cauliflower. Top off the experience with a family-style dessert platter including seasonal fritters, humingbird cake, and more.

• CALIFORNIA GRILL $$$$-  Savor the finest in Californian cooking, as you take in the sights of Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom park atop The Contemporary Resort. Cuisine that celebrates fresh, seasonal ingredients and the international, melting-pot culture of the Golden State. Changing seasonally, the menu may include such specialties as handmade Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli and Oak-fired Filet of Beef.

• TIFFINS $$$$- Set off on a culinary expedition of international cuisine at this restaurant inspired by exploration and adventure.  Begin your expedition with Spiced Chickpea Falafel, Charred Octopus or our signature bread service, before planting your flag with the Tamarind-braised Short Rib or Surf and Turf.

• LE CELLIER $$$$-Descend into the cozy cellar of a Canadian château for exquisite steaks and seafood specialties.  Savor tender steaks, fresh seafood, cheesy poutine fries and other regional cuisine inspired by the provinces of Canada.

• T-REX $$-  Surround yourself with the sights and sounds of a prehistoric world when you explore this dinosaur-themed café teeming with hands-on discovery zones and creative cuisine.  Dine on family-friendly American favorites beneath luminescent jellyfish or in a very unique section: the midsection of a triceratops! And every 20 minutes or so, witness a meteor shower complete with rumbling and fiery “explosions.”

• RAGLAN ROAD IRISH PUB $$-Discover the life and soul of Ireland with award-winning cuisine, live music and dance at this beautiful pub!  The Irish owners of Raglan Road have brought in top chefs from Dublin to present you with the very best of modern Irish cooking—from fish & chips to brilliantly reimagined classics like Shepherd’s Pie.

• BE OUR GUEST $$$$-Enter the Beast's enchanted castle and feast on French-inspired fare in one of our elaborately themed rooms—straight out of the beloved Disney classic! Start your meal with your choice of a sumptuous appetizer like French onion soup, lobster bisque or a selection of assorted meats and artisanal cheeses. For your main course, select from a medley of mouthwatering entrées—including filet mignon, tortellini and other savory delights. Afterwards, save some room for our trio of delectable desserts.

• SCI-FI DINE-IN $$-Do dinner and a show '50s-style at our drive-in "theater," featuring all-American cuisine and sci-fi movie clips.  Whet your appetite with mouthwatering meal teasers that include shrimp and crab fondue, fried dill pickles, or a Sci-Fi wedge salad that’s out of this world! For the main presentation, entrées include a flame-broiled burger, buffalo chicken salad, and an oven-roasted turkey wrap.

• TEPPAN EDO $$-Celebrate authentic Japanese cuisine during an exciting dining experience that’s part meal, part show. In the communal ritual of Teppan-yaki-style cooking, skillful chefs chop and stir-fry dishes on grills at your table. Select from steak, chicken, seafood and vegetable entrées, which are served with Udon noodles and steamed rice. You can also enjoy such favorites as edamame and assorted sushi rolls.

• VIA NAPOLI $$-Take a culinary tour of Southern Italy at this family-friendly restaurant and pizzeria at Epcot.  Start your meal with fried risotto balls, vegetable soup or prosciutto e melone. Then delight in lasagna napoletana, chicken parmigiana and wood-fired pizzas.

• JALEO by José Andrés  $$$$-  Savor authentic Spanish tapas, paella and sangria in an inviting, vibrant atmosphere.  At Jaleo, plates are designed to be shared. Along with signature tapas, savory paellas, superb sangria and a wide selection of the finest Spanish cheeses, wines and sherries, you’ll always find something wholly unique and exciting. It’s tradition and whimsy, all in one bite.

• D-LUXE BURGER $- Satisfy your burger cravings at this ranch-inspired eatery offering a variety of menu selections, including gelato shakes and freshly cut fries with house-made dipping sauces.

• REGAL EAGLE SMOKEHOUSE $-Step inside a smokehouse celebrating the regions of American backyard barbecue and craft beers. Join us for a delicious meal as our pit master uses techniques from classic barbecue regions to smoke our selections over oak wood.

• BLAZE PIZZA $-Visit this modern-day pizza joint to customize your own fast-fire’d 11” artisanal pie by choosing from over 40 delicious toppings and sauces. Freshly made salads and s’mores dessert pies are also popular picks.

• DOCKING BAY 7 FOOD AND CARGO $- At this restaurant housed in a working hangar bay, choose from a variety of dishes prepared with ingredients from across the galaxy—all of it delicious, but none of it familiar. Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs has docked a food freighter loaded with fresh supplies and he’s ready to satisfy the appetites of visitors and locals alike with an array of exotic offerings. His planet-hopping travels allow him to prepare fare with unusual flavors that delight customers.

• SATU'LI CANTEEN $-Discover healthful dishes and familiar flavors from another world—wholesome grains, fresh vegetables and hearty proteins.  Featuring international-inspired cuisine, vegetarian options and specialty libations, it’s the perfect place to refuel as you venture through the Valley of Mo’ara.
  

• WOODY'S LUNCHBOX $-Andy’s taken his lunch box and turned it into a backyard walk-up window serving tasty eats & treats—only at Toy Story Land! Fun twists on American dishes like a S’mores French Toast Sandwich are available for breakfast, and hot sandwiches for lunch and dinner include a BBQ Brisket Melt. 

• OGA'S CANTINA $- Welcome to the local cantina, where bounty hunters, smugglers, rogue traders, and weary travelers of all ages come together to refuel, enjoy music, and conduct meetings—no questions asked. With an expansive menu of exotic concoctions for young ones and adults, the cantina is a welcome rest stop before your crew’s next galactic journey.

• BASELINE TAP HOUSE $-A flavor-forward menu of small bites and dreamy flights is the perfect way to savor the afternoon or cap an evening. The crowning glory of BaseLine Tap House’s offerings are—without a doubt—its broad selection of California craft ales, lagers and cider. Don’t let that deter you from trying the variety of California wines on tap or specialty cocktails! There’s plenty of gourmet non-alcoholic lemonade and soda to go around, too. Soak up these sensational suds with a Bavarian pretzel slathered in mustard and beer-cheese fondue, spiced almonds or a charcuterie board highlighting delicious California cheeses.
  

• THE BASKET AT WINE BAR GEORGE $-Consider a stop at The Basket a must-do if you’re planning an al fresco dining experience at Disney Springs—or another Walt Disney World destination. Choose from bites and snacks to go, like french fries and charcuterie, or build a custom picnic that includes a basket when you spend a minimum of $60. You’ll also find a variety of adult sips—including wines on tap served by the glass or carafe.

• YORKSHIRE COUNTY FISH SHOP $- Stop by for the finest British fare this side of the Pond. Savor battered fish served with piping-hot chips. Plus, enjoy refreshing soft drinks and “draught” beer—including Bass Ale and Harp Lager.
  

• LA CANTINA DE SAN ANGEL $-Munch on Mexican favorites by World Showcase Lagoon—including tacos de barbacoa, empanadas con queso and guacamole, along with treats like churros and traditional fruit popsicles. Draft beers, margaritas and Mexican sodas are also available.
  

• LES HALLES BOULANGERIE-PATISSERIE $-Sample delectable treats and tempting delicacies at this traditional French bakery—from soups and salads to fresh baguette sandwiches and pastries. Wine, champagne, beer and gourmet coffees are also available. Bon appétit!
