• LLOYD C. GARDNER FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM IN LEADERSHIP AND SOCIAL POLICY

  • Thank you for applying to the Lloyd C. Gardner Fellowship Program! This program recognizes School of Arts and Sciences students who demonstrate academic excellence. Recipients are chosen by the Lloyd C. Gardner Fellowship Program Faculty Advisory Committee. The ideal applicants are students who are eager to deepen their understanding of major global issues, develop strong leadership skills and take a prominent role in addressing these issues in the coming decades. Applicants to the Lloyd C. Gardner Fellowship Program should be second semester sophomores in the School of Arts and Sciences with excellent academic records.

  • To make sure your application is complete, please be sure to provide the following information:  

    1. Your most recent full transcript, including Fall 2016 grades (a version printed from the web is sufficient). This can be downloaded from my.Rutgers.edu. See the LGF website for information about how to obtain a transcript.

    2. Your resume, with information about employment history, research experience(s), any university, college, or community organizations and/or activities with which you have been involved while at Rutgers, and any awards and scholarships you have received.

    3. You are welcome to include a letter, on a separate sheet, with any other information you would like the committee to know.
