If you are unable to view the video, please follow the steps below:
1. Wash your hands thoroughly and dry them
2. Open the package containing the swab stick
3. Insert the swab about 2.5cm into the nostril and rotate the swab 5 times
4. Repeat the process in the other nostril and withdraw
5. After the sample is collected, remove the white cap from the elution tube and insert the swab into it
6. Roll the swab at least 10 times while pressing the swab tip against the bottom and side of the elution tube
7. Squeeze or press the swab against the side of the tube to remove as much liquid as possible, then dispose the swab
8. Cover the elution tube tightly with the nozzle connected to the tube
9. Open the test cassette package and lay it flat
10. Add 4 drops of the test sample into the sample well and wait for the colored band to appear
11. The result will be ready in 10mins and must be read within 15mins
On the cassette, if only the control line (C) appears, the result is NEGATIVE.
If 2 horizontal lines appear in both the C and T regions, the result is POSITIVE.
Note:
- Even if the T line is faint, it is interpreted as a positive result
- If the C line does not appear, the test is invalid and you should repeat the test with a new test cassette
