The Spa is open from 6am to 10pm Monday – Friday and 8am to 9pm at the weekends and Bank Holidays. Your main fire exit is the reception entrance, there is a second fire exit at the end of the Gym, nearby the Studio. There are 6 fire-call points within the facility – Spa reception entrance door, Gym entrance door, middle of Cardio section, Gym Fire exit door, Plant Room door and Boiler Room door (walk around and point towards all points) – activating any one will trigger all fire doors to automatically open, this will also raise an alarm across the site and alert the Concierge office, which will call for a fire brigade.
In the event of a fire alarm being triggered, or a general evacuation, please proceed to the nearest exit point which you’ll be directed to by following the green Fire Exit signs placed around the facility. The assembly point is next to the Estate Management office, where Spa staff will complete a head count upon the end of an evacuation.
There are x8 Panic Alarm call points located within the facility – Studio entrance, Gym smiths racks area, Steam and Sauna room doors (both sides), Pool far end, and Plant room entrance (walk the contractor around the facility and show all call points). Upon activating any one of these, one of the available Spa staff members will be alerted, as well as the Concierge team – the Spa duty staff will retrieve an emergency grab bag located at the reception, report the alarm to Concierge via radio and proceed to the triggered area ready to respond. The panic alarm call-points are only to be used in emergency.
We have x2 First Aid kits available on-site – x1 in the Spa reception area, and x1 inside the Plant Room. There is also a Defiblirrator available at the Estate Management office.
There is always a member of staff on site to assist you during our opening hours, however as there are several different areas to the facility, they may not always be situated at the reception desk as they may be carrying out facility checks or assisting another resident.
Please treat the areas as unsupervised and with this in mind adhere to the terms and conditions to ensure safe use. Duty staff are qualified in emergency first aid and a first aid kit is located at the reception desk.
All equipment and areas are regularly checked but if you notice any unsafe conditions please report this to the duty manager immediately.
