Questionnaire for BCUH Instructors
This survey should take about 20 minutes. This survey is intended to help identify the strengths and weaknesses of the BCUH curriculum. Please answer the following questions based on your best knowledge. Your opinions are valuable and your responses will remain totally anonymous.

It is also believed there is limited, if any, harm taking this survey.You will receive no compensation for time spent participating in this survey. Participating in this survey may not be of no direct benefit to you. However, it is believed that the results form this survey will help the Chinese language program develop a better BCUH curriculum.

This questionnaire is designed to help the program coordinator understand your experience in teaching BCUH courses. The program coordinator would like to learn more from you in order to make BCUH better, which will help future students learn business Chinese.
No personal identifiable information will be collected and all of your responses will be remained anonymous. This questionnaire will take about 15 minutes. Thanks for your input and time!
1. In general, please describe the background/nature of the BCUH studnets.
According to the syllabus, there are five goals of this business Chinese program. The detailed goals and objectives can be accessed through here. In a nutshell, at the end of this program, students should:
1. (For listening) Understand the majority of face-to-face conversations in standard Mandarin at normal speech rate in selected business settings, such as applying for and accepting a job;
2. (For speaking) Confidently engage in everyday communication needed during the work-related stay in China;
3. (For reading) Understand main ideas and most supporting details of factual narrations, descriptions and statistics in business prose;
4. (For writing) Be familiar with the formality and characteristics of various Business related writings;
5. (For cultural awareness) Recognize appropriate and inappropriate behaviors in Chinese workplace.
