Family Ministry Summer Internship 2013
First Presbyterian Church has summer intern positions available for college-aged young adults who desire to serve Jesus Christ through working with youth or children. The summer interns work in partnership with the Family Ministry staff and under the direct supervision of the Children’s Ministry Directors or the Youth Ministry Director.
This is a great opportunity to participate in the lives of young people by building relationships, mentoring, nurturing them in their faith and facilitating a Christian education program. Interns will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills by designing, implementing and evaluating programs such as Bible study, Vacation Bible School and Sunday school. This hands-on approach to ministry offers college-aged young adults a summer to explore a call to ministry. Interns will also participate in the life of the staff of First Presbyterian Church by attending staff chapel and meetings and by working in conjunction with other staff members at the church. To apply for an internship, please complete and submit the following application online.
