Here are some tips for preparing for your trial:
1. Find "inspiration" photos from my social media page. When looking for inspiration photos, you should look for someone that resembles and has the same features as you. For example, the same skin tone, hair color, eye shape (hooded, upturned, downturned, almond, round), and eye color as well. This is important because if you like the makeup on someone with different features then you, you may not get the same outcome. This can ultimately lead to disappointment if you are expecting to look exactly like the model in the photo. Please keep in mind that I am still growing my portfolio, so I may not have an inspiration photo featuring someone with your exact features just yet. However I will do my best to customize the look to complement your unique features and bring your vision to life!
2. Exfoliate your face the morning of your trial. This is going to get rid of any dead or unwanted skin cells and leave your skin with a smooth surface. After exfoliating wash your skin with a gentle cleanser. I will take care of the rest of skin preparation you do not need to wear anything to the makeup appointment.
3. If you plan on having a tan on you wedding day it's a good idea to be the same shade as you would on your wedding day. Get your spray tan 1-2 days before the trial that way you can wash it off at least once or twice before the trial. If you can not get a spray tan for your trial that is also ok. I'm just taking the necessary steps to ensurethe most out of your trial, so we get a better idea of how your makeup will look on your wedding day!
4. Wear your hair similar to how you would on your wedding day, whether it's up in a bun with face framing or half up half down with curls, etc. This will give you the best idea on how you will look on your wedding day!
5. Wear WHITE! I recommend wearing a white top with a neckline similar to your wedding dress. This will help you visualize your overall bridal look and give you a better idea of how your makeup will complement your dress on your big day!
6. Bring your wedding day accessories including hair pieces, jewelry, veil, etc. Anything you are wearing for your big day should be brought to your trial so you can really see how you will look.
