Background / Eligibility
The COVID-19 Social Service Relief Fund at the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation (PAHWF) will provide flexible resources to nonprofit organizations within the PAHWF service area that have been impacted by the coronavirus and the economic consequences of the pandemic. Our goal is to provide resources to help the nonprofit community navigate the immediate and near future impact on their organizations and the individuals they serve.
Funds will be available through a mini-grant process, with a maximum grant amount of $5,000 per organization. The organization must provide services within the PAHWF service area and must be a nonprofit organization with a tax-exempt status in good standing with the IRS.
All requested funds will be used for the sole purpose of serving individuals within the service area of Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation

The area served by the Foundation includes seven sub-areas contiguous with seven public school districts within the above listed zip codes. These seven sub-areas are located in Berks, Chester and Montgomery Counties. They are the Pottsgrove, Daniel Boone, Owen J. Roberts, Spring-Ford, Perkiomen Valley and Boyertown areas, and Pottstown Borough.
