ZION-BENTON TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL BAND SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Thank you for applying to the ZBTHS Band Scholarship! The ZBTHS Band Scholarship recognizes graduating seniors who made instrumental music during their high school career. Recipients are chosen by the ZB Band Boosters Scholarship Committee. The ideal applicants are students who are able to articulate their band experience at ZBTHS and must have been in a band class from one to four years; and have concrete plans for continuing education after high school, i.e. trade school, community college, 2 year or 4 year college/university or entering the military.
There are two parts to the application: Personal Information & Essay.

Part Two: Essay
In a minimum 500 word essay, please share your activities and participation in ZB Band or other music-centered programs here at Zion-Benton Township High School. Also, please include your favorite memory of ZB Band during your high school experience. Lastly, please include what you will take away from ZBTHS once you graduate that you can attribute to the Music Program, i.e. Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, Solo/Ensemble, ILMEA competitions, Pep Band, etc.
