Madison Academy Director of Advancement, Glen Laird, will prepare a press release to be distributed to local media outlets based on the information filled out below. Mr. Laird will also make media outlets aware of the signing date. This does not guarantee that they will attend.

Signing Day Format
Order of Events For The Signing
1. Welcome by Principal or Athletic Director
2. Comments by the MA Coach (and Club Coach if desired)
3. Comments by the University Representative (if allowed, NCAA does not allow this)
4. Signing of the Papers & Photos with the family members
5. Comments by the student-athlete
6. Comments by the parents (parents invite students to the reception)
7. Prayer of Blessing On the Student-Athlete- MA Administrator or person chosen by parents
8. Refreshments- Teammates, family members, & close friends go first then the student body.
Madison Academy will provide the MA logoed backdrop for pictures, tables, and ice for the refreshments.
Parents are responsible for providing tablecloths matching color of school signing with, finger foods, drinks, plates, and napkins.
