About Us:
The Asian Mosaic Fund (AMF) Giving Circle is a diverse group of multi-generational donors committed to advancing the well-being of the Greater Philadelphia Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander community. We envision a flourishing Asian community made up of safe, thriving, and diverse sectors, strengthened by dynamic leadership that empowers the Asian community to fully participate in all levels of society. AMF is a member of the AAPIP National Giving Circle Network.
About Our Grants:
Each year, the AMF Giving Circle raises funds to be distributed to organizations that serve the Asian community in accordance with our mission and values. Both established nonprofit organizations and emerging community-based organizations have received grants to support the important work they do. To date, almost $100,000 in grant funds has been distributed to a wide range of deserving organizations. Grants are awarded through an application process overseen by the AMF Grants Committee, with final selection determined by AMF’s donors. Each grant is typically $5,000 and the total number of grants is based on available funds.
What We Fund:
This year, the AMF Giving Circle will provide unrestricted general operating support. These grant funds can be used for any purpose determined by the grantee. We believe that general operating support funds will help to support the grantees’ sustainability, growth, and impact. This year, our process may include site visits, phone conversations, and emails as a follow-up to the application process.
Grantees will expected to provide a final report on the impact of their grant by November 30, 2016.
Eligibility:
Any organization that has not received AMF funding in the past three years is eligible to apply. Organizations must be based in the Greater Philadelphia Region, which includes southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and northern Delaware. Applicants must either be a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization or utilize a fiscal sponsor if unincorporated. We encourage community-based, grassroots, and emerging organizations to apply.
